we all are what our past and experiences make us and hence none of them is wrong or right...
Now if the choice would have been different then the story would definitely be different...no doubt in that...so for me Shyam cannot be considered as catalyst...π
he he okies ... lets agree to disagree..
Btw.. Shyam never had the benefit of knowing both leads. He knows arnav inside out. Khushi is still evades him. He is delusional when it comes to khushi. He does not know that khushi is in love with arnav (ok...subconsciously when will this girl understand...). He thinks or at least thought till holi that khushi loves him.
He knows aranav. But that terrace hug day if you notice when arnav confronted shyam... Who said it first about the affair between shyam and khushi? Arnav , isn't it? So shyam never played that card. Its arnav who made that statement and shyam acknowledged it. Shyam was totally shaken at that point and that was the one respite he got and he hold onto it. right?
Then when they confronted on the road after arhi marriage...shyam's dialogue. "She would have never married a guy like you" to ASR. he knows aSR and his ego. He played on ASRs tune and give him a jadka... For me during arhi marriage shyam came across as someone who was an opportunist and played the cards correct when the opportunity came to him, not someone who worked to create an opportunity. ASR himself presented the opportunity to him in golden plate. Luck by chance villain ...LOL
