Just last yr I changed from Development to automation.. I was Java development lead.. Couldn't justify being mom.. So had to move..But anything for my babies..they are my priority..

totally agree with you. I too shifted from Development to boring system support where I had the luxury of working from home.. but now I gave up that as well. Kids are complete priority.

But at my job we mostly do maintaince of the storage data ..so Most of the time i will do work from home 😃...only attending meetings 😆...

even my huby stays at home most of the time..so i can manage easily till now..lets How i will manage after i got the promotion as mother 😉

Lucky one of the main reason I moved to this team is that.. I get to WFH a lot.. I go 3 days to wrk and 2 days WFH.. My hubby is some what close to your field he works on Data Stage .. He is Operations manager to him team.. Pretty hectic right.. Night and day never counts..

Oh yes sandy god you know about it..in india infrastcture mantaince is new now..

mostly people know about development only..

yes sandy so much hectic and one mistake we can loose So much money sometimes in crores ..

development we can have fixed deal line..but in maintaince no timmings they can call anytime if the data stroge systems fails ..😡 😡...but we can Get more salaries than development side 😆
