Hello Peeps. 😊
You know sometimes when I watch an episode I feel so elated to see my wishes coming true. But when I start to pen down, then I fall short of words and start searching for some. Today is one of those days. After watching the episode there was only one phrase that came to my mind - "In the middle of the night". If you want me to describe today's episode in single line then I'd say it was all about Billy Joel's song - "River of dreams".
River of Dreams by Billy Joel In the middle of the night ... I go walking in my sleep ... From the mountains of faith
To the river so deep ... I must be lookin' for something ... Something sacred I lost
But the river is wide ... And it's too hard to cross ... even though I know the river is wide
I walk down every evening and stand on the shore ... I try to cross to the opposite side
So I can finally find what I've been looking for ... Through the valley of fear
I've been searching for something ... Taken out of my soul ... Something I'd never lose
Something somebody stole ... I don't know why I go walking at night
God knows I've never been a spiritual man ... That is runnin' through the promised land
Through the desert of truth ... To the river so deep ... We all end in the ocean
In the middle of the night
Does the lines above ring any bell??? Which character I am talking about??? Khushi??? Naaa. It's all and all about Arnav Singh Raizada. But today's episode was about the "Story" of both Arnav and Khushi. There is one major HINT in today's episode, as I will peel that page in the analysis. So, be with me when I describe the journey of - "Arnav and Khushi".
The story of "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon" started in Lukhnow with the wedding of the first daughter of Gupta household, Payal. We were told about the occupation on the Guptas through a very simple scene. When Mr. Shashi Gupta was walking down the passage with the "Legal File" of the Shop then we learned that he owns a sweet shop, named - "Swastik Meethai Bhandaar". Yes, our Guptas are halwaai-s. To protest against Dowry and save her father's shop we saw the youngest daughter, Khushi Kumari Gupta, took the blessing of her DM before meeting the groom, Abhishekji. But fate had other plans as she unwillingly landed in the arms of the one and only Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. The Business Tycoon accused her of intruding his fashion show and sabotaging the same. He locked her up until she reveals the truth that he wanted to hear. But instead she ended up hurting him; she unknowingly rubbed salt in his "incurable wound", that reminded him of his horrifying past. His Mother's death and his only dear sister's wedding that was never meant to happen. At the same moment Arnav accused her of making money for the "Dowry" that she actually came to fight for. Whatta Irony???One rubbed salt in his "Biggest Wound" and the other accused her to be a "Gold Digger". That night two star crossed lovers met each other but they never knew that they are destined to be together. Khushi and Arnav hated the sight of each other since then and not even in a lifetime can anyone predict that these two will be united for eternity.
Fate brought them together again. No, not by good deed but when Arnav had shown Khushi the feeling of "Social Stigma" through releasing the "Fashion Show footage", which opened the doors for the "Devil" to enter in the life of this "Princess". Yes, that was the biggest mistake by the mighty Arnav Singh Raizada, but he never realized as he believes in creating his own destiny and also of others. Due to that "Social Stigma" Khushi had to shift along with her sister to Delhi until the situations calm down, back home. They took shelter at their Buaji's place, whose life was depended on her husband's little pension and her own Saree Business. But that was not enough for all the 3 of them. Fate again played a very crucial game with them. Buaji's pension work was already stuck and whatever little income that they could earn was through this Saree Business. The enthusiastic and helpful natured Khushi is she offered for help. But again the wonders of destiny can never be imagined. Khushi mistakenly landed in the house of the same "Prince" who she never ever wanted to meet in her entire life. But she did land at his Mansion. The moment she entered, she set her "right foot" first and entered the palace. Khushi was greeted by non-other than the Prince's Sister, Anjali Jha, who was with "Pooja ki thali" doing her morning rituals as usual. Now, this is called "Destiny".
But this arrangement was not preferred by her DM, as she needed to land somewhere else. Sometimes the work of Devils also become very helpful as they say, they are biggest "Cupids". Khushi joined AR Group but could stay there for long as the Prince made pretty sure to make a "Hell" for her. Little did the prince know that his princess will make it pretty sure that she will reach the place that is meant for her and her only. Yes, she did and it was one night that the Prince found himself spellbound by the sight of this "Lady in Red". That was the moment he realized there is something in this "Damsel" which attracts him; he cursed himself not to think about her any time; he cursed himself for she was making him realizing his mistakes; he cursed himself for she was capturing every single tissues in his right and left brains; He ran away from the thoughts to the middle of the road in his moving refuge but had to stop in between and wash away the little "Guilt" that he was feeling in the million and millions of the droplets that were falling from the sky.
The first feeling of Love was happily buried by the Prince. But could he actually??? Then came the first terrible night on Khushi; she was sent on site by Arnav unknown of the condition of the site; the moment he realized the blunder, Arnav rushed to save the damsel in distress and brought her home. The man who vowed not to even think about the girl, didn't realize that this same girl is slowly slowly peeling the husks to reach to the "sweet corn on the cob". The moment Khushi gained consciousness she was advised by everyone in the family, including the devil, to quit. She did as advised but by pointing his mistakes and very clearly she released her anger on him. Khushi didn't even give a chance to Arnav to explain, the same way Arnav didn't believe any of her explanations the first time they met. Aren't they equals??? They were separated then. But for how long???
So, the two star crossed lovers met again and this time in the auspicious day of "Teej". Teej is a festival for the married women who fast the whole day without food and water for their husbands. This is considered auspicious in the northern parts of India. Khushi was forced by her Buaji to keep the vrat as she predicted a possible alliance between her niece and the devil; unknown of the true facet of the Devil. Destiny played it's part again in the lives of Arnav and Khushi. She felt weak and fainted when her prince completed her fast by helping her drink the "Water". This was the first hint of their "Metaphorical Wedding". A wedding that is destined to happen. But who knew that this is the place where the prince will "Humiliate" her princess one dark night. The story began.
Days and months passed by with Arnav and Khushi coming closer slowly slowly. Then came the first heartbreak of Khushi Kumari Gupta. In the night of the Diwali, to prevent him from exposing to Khushi, Arnav being an opportunist took the most toughest decision of his life by declaring his probable wedding to Lavanya. There he announced in the middle of Diwali celebration and here on the other side of the house by the water we witnessed a major heart break rolling down the cheeks. Yes, a girl who just a moment ago experienced the "reason" of her heart beat was thrashed into pieces by the "provider" of the reason himself. She left the place as fast as she can but again there he was; he was also burning in the same flame as she was but did any one of them realize that??? oh yeah they both did. It's just the "Ego" that came in between.
The devil started to play his tricks to accomplish in his mission and Khushi had to forcefully get engaged to him. When the prince learned of this event, he was furious, unknown of the reason, but he was. Then one fine day, Khushi figured the "Real Facet" of the Devil, Shyam Manohar Jha and that he is non-other than Anjali's husband; that this man not only is culprit of her but he is biggest culprit of Anjali and Arnav and both the Guptas and Raizadas; that he is a "Traitor". Devastated she was that day and wanted her DM and family to guide her; she decided to spill the beans to the biggest victim of the devil, Anjali. But here again fate had other plans and she had to keep quiet, not knowing that this one mistake of her will snatch away her belief from her DM; that this one mistake of her will sabotage her dreams for ever; that this one mistake of her will sabotage her prince and his heart; that this one mistake will forever crush her love. She had no other choice but to keep quiet for she could never watch Anjali in a devastated state of mind. Khushi had to pay the price for this mistake, she had to, for as I quote - truth will always remain a truth and it will always find a way to come out open in the world.
The wedding preparations of Payal and Aakash were going on at one end and on the other end two hearts were uniting. Oblivious of the works of the destiny, the moment of realization of love dawned in both Arnav and Khushi. Arnav watched Khushi to walk up to the terrace when he realized without further delay he needs to confess his feelings for his princess, unknown of the fact that his princess was also counting moments to listen those golden words from him. Did they confess that moment and lived in that moment??? No. The moment was still unreachable to them. They need to walk some more paths towards the final destination. Arnav, happily, opened the door of the terrace and witnessed something that he never ever dreamed of in his entire life. The sight, that was so scary that it got printed in his brain. It didn't need any film or TP to modify and make a hard copy. The visual was strong and powerful that he just needs to close his eyes only if he wants to revisit it again and again. The visual was "Khushi is the arms of Shyam". His Khushi, for whom he came out of the shell after long 12 years; the Khushi who managed to enter his heart which was guarded by husks around; the Khushi who is honest and simple. How can he be so immature not to read this girl properly??? Arnav, who managed to put an iron wall around himself could not bear that horrendous sight and the voice that echoed - "Chod di jiye Anjaliji ko"??? How??? How?? How can he make this biggest blunder of his life"??? How can he become the biggest fool of 21st century??? How could he read this girl so wrong??? The girl, for whom he felt love and because of whom he broke all the ties with Lavanya turned out to be just another traitor??? He neither could figure out the reality not he did allow any logic to understand. He didn't hide behind the doors but he heroically faced one of the traitors, a part of his family for he knew the questions to be asked first from the family and then outsiders. He confronted Shyam and the devil confirmed his doubt with finesse. As shocked he was already didn't have the guts to confront the other traitor, Khushi; for he feared that he couldn't face her truth; for he couldn't face to listen the reality from her mouth; for he feared whatever the words she will utter will be like a bullet to his heart that was already wounded with millions and millions of bullets and he didn't have the guts to take the burden of more for already he learned that his Di is pregnant and there is no way that he could get rid of both the traitors. He went to his comfort zone and broke down in the middle of the road and released all the pains that was inside here for as it is always been believed that "crying makes one lighter". Yeah, he lightened himself and then started his "Mission".
Arnav dragged Khushi by the pool and made a deal to save his sister's life oblivious of the fact that he is making an "innocent" girl to be the "DOWRY" for her own sister's wedding to happen. Fate again played it's cruel game and Khushi's heart broke for the second time in the house of "Lakhsmi", in the house of her eternal mother, her confidante, "Devi Maiyya". Arnav dragged her to the "Temple" and put the sindoor on her maang and tied the mangal sutra sround her neck while saying - "yeh sa cheezein tumhaare liye bahut maine rakhta hain naa??? Yeh raha mangalsutra aur yeh raha sindoor". He sabotaged her dreams, her life, her dignity, her respect, her belief, her purity; each and everything that she is made of. The poor girl didn't even know the reason why she became a "Sacrificial Lamb". She turned to her DM who stood stupefied and let it happen on her little girl, her disciple. That night she was not even given a chance to even open her mouth; how the hell will she know the reason behind the rage of the only person that matters to her; who opinions about her maters to her; for whom she waited on the terrace expecting the most beautiful moment to arrive in her life that she weaved since her childhood. But all went in vain and her heart was shattered into pieces that are beyond any count. Two hearts which were destined to be together started to live in two separate worlds from that very moment.
3 months passed by and today Khushi knows the reason behind her sudden wedding with Arnav. Today she is hell bent on proving herself and clear her image in the eyes of her prince for she cannot afford to lose her shelter in his heart. Naani was telling her the story of Arnav's one incident. He was 4 yrs old when Anjali stole the ice-cream and both Arnav and Anjali had consumed it and when Anjali fell sick and was hurt and she was punished; knowing that it was also his fault he punished himself hiding under a "Brass Vessel" kneeling down. What is "Murga Banna"??? Thanks Purvi for explaining me it's kneeling down and Aashi for correcting me that it's much more painful. When asked why he did that he explained that it was his fault. His family had to cut the vessel and get him out. When Khushi asked why, Naani replied - "Humre chote hain naa, agar woh kisise pyaar karate hain aur woh kuch nehin kar sakat hain, toh woh khudhi ko saaza dene lagat hain". Now this is a "Metaphor". Brilliant. Absolutely Brilliant.
Whatta indication for the future miceo tracks and what will happen when the terrace confrontation happens. The moment Arnav will realize that Khushi made a mistake in hiding the truth from him but he did the biggest mistake in not believing her and read her all wrong since the beginning, then he will be all set to punish him. Yes, his repentance will start as he will not be able to face himself knowing that there were other avenues to handle the issue that night but he chose to elope and marry her not even allowing explaining her status that night. He sabotaged the dreams of her; he sabotaged her belief; he threw her out under the open sky to sleep in the cold; he managed to make her life a living hell; he will not be able to forgive himself and will punish himself for she will sick that time and will be hospitalized. Yes, she will be as hinted by the shoemaker, Naani to one of the elves, Khushi. She had shown Khushi the real Arnav and gave her the "pearl of wisdom" that she would use in time of need. Arnav will repent and he will not be able to forgive him for what he did to "innocent" Khushi. This is why I said yesterday that it will be Arnav who will clear the dialogue of "Mrs. ASR" himself. He will. Mark my words.
But where will he hide??? Remember the episode of April 26th where Arnav became a Mechanic for a day??? Here is the excerpt from that analysis:-
Here comes the third hint and the confirmation on the "Kambal" innuendo that I explained yesterday. She said ' "Aap humse kyun chup rahe hain"??? Isn't it??? It's again about him not being able to face himself when the truth will come to reality. Hence, his repentance. This is another mini track where the kid said '"gadi chal padi" which implies his love story will definitely going to start from then. These are very subtle hints about the future.
So, there was another hint in the "Fables" episode. Excerpts from that analysis:-
Ringing Bell:- This is related to the "Bell" that Khushi intended to tie around Laxmi's neck. I searched a lot but I couldn't find the Inidan version of this story. So, I need help here or I need some more time to find a suitable story here. There is definitely a link here.
That day it slipped out of my mind. When I watched the episode I was like - damn damn damn. How can I be so dumb??? Lakhsmi = "God" and Khushi said I love the sound of the bell - "Bells". What is the place where the above two exists and what is the place that Khushi loves the most??? Yeah yeah yeah, it's non other than "TEMPLE".
Today naani said Arnav hid himself under the brass vessel and it had to be cut. What happens when a brass vessels needs to be cut??? It forms a "Bell" and it is always made of "Brass ( pital)". Khushi asked him that day on why he hiding from her, he said - "Main kyun chupunga"??? Remember??? When the dawn of truth of Khushi's innocence will fall upon him he will hide in the only place where he humiliated Khushi, the Temple. Every one knows Arnav can go to any place but the temple but when the he will learn the truth, then the only place where he will find slace is in the "Temple".He will have to crawl from the "Middle of the Road" to the "Temple", kneeling down. He have hold his ears and ask for absolution first from "Himself" and then from "DM" for like Naani said - "agar woh kisise pyaar karat hain aur woh kuch nehin kar sakat hain, toh woh khudhi ko saaza dene lagat hain".
It is this moment Khushi will seek him and she will straight got the temple to him. Why did Naani say - 4 yrs???
Number 4:- Like I said yesterday, represents God's creative works, especially works associated with the earth. The number four for example illustrates the universality of something. Derived from the four compass directions being all points, all directions, or everywhere. This number denotes - "Universal Judgment" of their Love.
Fate started to play the cards. After all why not? He humiliated God and treated himself as "THE ONE". He will be FINALLY BROKEN. Senseless. Helpless. Incapacitated. Heart Broken. Repressed. Crushed to the ground. He needed to cry like hell in the middle of the road under the open sky, the place where he always left Khushi alone to fight her own battles. This is called PAYBACK. That day when he will CRY I want the NATURE to cry too so that all his SINS are washed away. This is what I envisioned when I mentioned I want Diwali night revisited. Because before he falls in love truly, madly, deeply he needs to feel the pain that he had caused her. How can he love her immensely if he doesn't realize she is one who in spite of his torture and demeaning behavior never stopped loving him? She always wished the best for him and his family. Sometimes what you see may not be true.
Remember what I said on Feb 20th analysis???
ASR not only humiliated her but he too wanted to show that he writes his own destiny and her DM cannot even save her. ASR has not only humiliated Khushi and her beliefs in marriage but he "DID HUMILIATE GOD" and by filling her Maang and putting MS he DID HUMILIATE the very existence of the Solemnity, Sanctity and the Importance in Marriage. He SINNED in a big way and he now will pay the price in this very Temple as I said earlier about his repentance.
Why Ice cream??? Because it was summer, June/July. Ring a bell??? Yes this was the indication that the repentance track will end in June/ July with CONFESSION at the same TEMPLE. She will seek him there as he will hide there seeking for forgiveness and she will forgive him in the same Temple and they will confess their love for ETERNITY with cupping their faces and shedding tears of joy because as G.B.Shaw said ~ "When two people are under the influence of the most violent, most insane, most delusive, and most transient of passions, they are required to swear that they will remain in that excited, abnormal, and exhausting condition continuously until death do them part".
Quickly I will touch on their wedding hint that was gven in the episode. Yeah, it ws hinted in the Temple today and as I mentioned it will on or around Teej day; they have given the beautiful hints with sindoor on the laddoo and genda phool. Laddoo is halwaii and genda phool is auspicious for weddings and Khushi's Teej FBs were appropriate for the transformation from the metaphoric wedding to Actual Wedding.
Rest there were many hints on the Shyam's revelation which I will touch tomorrow, if cannot then Friday when I will open Redux.
Before I sign off I would like to say to you all to gear up for the "REPENTANCE" track is knocking at the door and then we will witnesss the most powerful "Temple CONFESSION" of Arnav and Khushi. As I have always said -Arnav had sinned in the temple and he needs to repent at the same temple and once he repents then Khushi will seek him there and forgive him in the same "Temple" and they will be untited for ever.
This is one of the most important tracks and I want the "Final Break Down" of Arnav in the "Repentance" episode and the "Temple Confession" of Arnav and Khushi to be directed by one and only - NISSAR PARVEZ and this is my "DEMAND". Gul, Please don't take any RISK here.
