Nani and Khushi:

When I heard this conversation, I was reminded of Arnav's repentance track but somehow I felt there was more to it. I kept thinking about it and finally I realized that it is not only the last sentence that is important but also the first sentence. I never discussed any episode with Doods but today, I asked her that is Khushi still going to hurt herself in the confrontation? She answered in affirmative and it confirmed my theory.

Jab choote 4 saal ke the, to woh pittal ke bartan mein...

Why 4 and why pittal?

Pittal/Copper or Brass in biblical sense refers to sin, forgiveness and sacrifice. In Nani's story, Arnav was not the one who had done the sin but he had taken part in the crime, he was part of it. Though no one blamed him he could not forgive himself and decided to punish himself because he could not see the person he loves suffering. Similarly, now even though he is not a person who was originally responsible for the crime, even though he was not the one who initiated it, he became part of it. He sinned. Soon he will come to know the truth and he will be seeking forgiveness. Khushi will forgive him but he wil not be able to forgive himself, he will keep punishing himself for all the suffering his love went through because of him. But where does the sacrifice and number "4" fit in?

The altar/cross (four corners) is where Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for the redemption of the mankind. His words, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them (although the law required them to be made). Here I am, I have come to do Your will." Hebrews 10:8-9"

Also, "as the use of bronze/copper in the Tabernacle construction is about human tendency to sin and the need for redemption, through sacrifice" - Unknown

Thus,in our case, for Arnav's redemption and forgiveness, it will be Khushi who will sacrifice herself during the confrontation. She is going to hurt herself and she is going to be hospitalized. He did not accept her explanation or her words but her sacrifice will be the ultimate proof of her love. The hospital will be his place of redemption where he will punish himself by becoming the "murga".

This will be the beginning of his redemption. He will suffer with her, he will pay for her pain with his tears for her pain and he will punish himself for her suffering. He will turn the world upside down so that she recovers and his helplessness to help her will result in his punishment for himself because like Nani said, "if he cant do anything for the person he loves, he will keep punishing himself" He will realize that Khushi is the person about whom his Di always spoke about, the one because of whom he will stop breathing and he will finally have the answer to the full, exact and complete answer to the question " aapko kyun farak padta hain"

He will find solace, he will find the help and it will in the place that he has always ridiculed and she believed in, her DM. It will be DM who will stabilize him, who will help him settle and which in the end will help him forgive himself. He will thus redeem himself for each and every sin of his and in the end he will be gifted with her revival, her love and her forgiveness in this holy place itself.

Nani and Anjali

Two important women in Arnav's life and two women who have now been silent witness to Khushi's love for Arnav. Similarly soon they will witness to the vast love Arnav has for Khushi.

When Shyam's truth comes out, it will be Arnav and Khushi who will be blamed, who might face the storm. This will not only be because of the unbreakable trust Raizadas have in Shyam but also because of the biggest blot this pair have on themselves, the way they got married. Their marriage was a shock to everyone and none of the family members though forgiven have not forgotten it. But though these ladies are blind, they are very shrewd people.

Each of this ladies is going to play a different role in the coming confrontation, where Anjali is going to bring them together, it is Nani who is going to make Anjali walk the right path and who is going to help her realize the truth. But to do so, it is very important for them to believe that Khushi has always loved Arnav and her love for Arnav is as deep as the sea and as strong as the mountain. This will help them understand that she never had any feelings for Shyam, that she never enticed him and that she was not the one who had trapped him. They will realize that it was Shyam who was the culprit not Khushi and that for Khushi it was always Arnav and it will always be Arnav.

Similarly, they have to believe that whatever the circumstances of their marriage, their Chotte has lots and lots of love for Khushi. They will realize that she is his life and breath and his this love will push them to unite these two lovebirds who will be separated because of Anjali's blind trust in Shyam and who will be united because of Anjali's love for Arnav.

PS:

Where is the Payal who stood against the mighty ASR and Aakash when she knew they were wrong and she was right? She knows that she is not wrong, then why is she been shown as a dumb scared person. Why is she not defending herself, they might not believe her but at least show that she is trying to prove herself. She is not a girl from a small village but a girl who has been educated and knows what is right or wrong.

very nicely presented dear. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it
