(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -

Just when it seemed like everything else was crashing down, Khushi developed courage to stand up to creepy Shyam, challenging her womanhood, threatening her dignity and questioning her love...

Khushi's threats are never taken seriously by Shyam. Shamelessly, the half naked soulless devil,
instead starts threatening Khushi, " Khushi ji, if you are done threatening me, then go search for those papers!" After threatening her, he turns around to leave when Khuhsi claims very confidently, "You have those papers!" Stunned Shyam turns around with some suspicion in his eyes; Khushi says, "Don't even say a word! I know very well that you have those papers. I know all your moves..!" Shyam calmly says, "No, Khushi ji! I don't have those papers, but if tyou do not know where those papers are then it won't be good for either of us!" His face extremely threatening by the time he is done saying all his words...then he leaves...

After saying Good Bye to Bubbly, Khushi, along with everyone else in the family, comes back. Khushi is deeply engrossed in her thoughts, her worries...she twists her ankle and is about to fall when Shyam reflexly extends his hand to supposrt her..before he could touch her, Khuhsi regains control of her body and quickly turns around to lookat him..When she is about to say something, she realizes Nani and Anjali's presence...so, she sternly says, "I am alright..JI..Ja..Ji!" stressing each syllable in the final word... But Shyam is an old player in this game, he casually says, "But, you don't look alright..seems like you are thinking..about someone.." he knows well that this time Khushi's mind is filled with disgust about him, even though in disgust, she is thinking about him..






"That's correct," Anjali jumps in..."And I happen to know, who she is thinking about..lost in his thoughts.." Khushi's thoughts again come back to Arnav, a vulnerable feeling returns on her face, in her eyes..Affectionately, Anjali says, "I know what I have to do now to get Khushi ji smiling again!" She lovingly asks Khushi, holding her by shoulders, "Will you , please, listen to me?" Khushi says, "Yes." "Then come with me, " Anjali walks her to the sitting area, Nani follows..Anjali and Nani making some eye gestures communicate with each other.. Anjali brings a white envelope and happily, bursting with joy, she says, "Look at this! ..and smile... this will bring you straight to Chhotey.." The words stunn Shyam who is going up the stairs..he stops in his trcak..turns around and listens.."The one you are missing so much!" Nani says, "Anjali, why are you talking in riddles? Just tell clearly..this is your ticket to London.." Khushi's eyes wides..flicker of hope returns..Shyam gets exasperated..as Nani contionues, "You are going to London to See Chhotey!" Khushi surprised, says hesitantly, "but..I.." "You are so lost in Chhotey's thoughts that we thought that if you get to meet him once, your smile will be back too!" Khushi feels overwhelmed..Shyam gets increasingly frustrated..Anjali says enthusiastically, "That's why we got the tickets to London!..so that you can there where you happiness is..with our Chhotey!" Love and affction oozing from Anjali's words and eyes..Khuhsi's eyes well up..But Shyam hurriedly comes back down the stairs and says, "But Ranu Sahiba, how would she go alone? Did you talk to Salesaab..bro-in-law?" Anjali informs hin, "No! How can I talk to him when he is not answering is phone..So, I left a message for him.." Shyam does not give up, he says worried, "Rani Sahiba, just getting the ticket is not enough! ...Paaprt..visa... everything needs to be arranged for.." Anjali happily replies, "I took care of everything! That's the benefit of being Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada Al the formalities were completed right away..Right Niani?" Nai and Anjali hi-five each other giggling.. "And yes, the flight is tonight!" Irked Shyam looks at the ticket Anjali hands Khushi with anger, while Khushi bursts out in tears..

Nani says, "At least now, give us a smile..dear! Now you are off to see Chhotey!" Khushi's yes brim with tears..as she smiles briefly..Anjali and Nani rejoice in her happines..Shyam gets more frustrated and leaves..immediately gets on phone..making some evil plans.. As Khushi climbs up the stairs to go to her room, she thinks, "Nani ji and Di got me the tickets...but I must talk to Arnav ji to let him kno wthat they did this..otherwise he will be angry again and will say that I dropped in London without any notification..." Khushi immediately dials Arnav's number but her call goes on the same voice mail... Khushi gets frustrated, "Ho wmany times.. evert time I call ..I get voice mail..don't know what the matter is..it's good that I am going..once I see him, my restlessnes... my fears will be put to rest.." she still feels the uneasiness..

Khushi gets ready to leave..Payal asks her to take care of herself..says that she is worried as Khuhsi never went anywhere so far by herself...Mami immediately starts giving her adnise, "Phati saree, listen to those airline staff..the one that gives instructions as if they are exercising..all of that stuff is useful..don't fall asleep.. " then she turns to Anjali and asks why she did not get tickets for all the family members..they all could have gone to surprise Arnav.. Nani nicely says, "It is Khushi's right to surprise Chhotey! What do we have to do by interfering between those husband wife?".. Anjali suggests that the driver will drop Khushi off and Aakash may come to help at the airport..Khushi says that she will take care of herself and there is no need for Aakash to come..Heavy hearted Khushi says Bye to everyone..Payal instructs Khushi to take care and not be afraid of anything..she reminds her that if she does get afraid then she should remember her parents to help get rid of the fear..






Khushi gets a phone call on her way to airport..as a result, she turns around and comes back home..deep in her thoughts..she enters as Anjali says to Nani, "Let me cal Khushi ji..she must have reached the airport!" "Di..!" Khushi calls..Both Nani and jupmp to their feet with surprise..Nani asks, "Khushi dear, you did not leave?" Anjali flabbergasted asks, "I thought.. by now you.." "I will not go to London, Di!" Khushi declares.. Shocked Abnjali asks, "What?" She finds the whole thing very shocking..Khushi makes an excuse that her parents prohibited her to travel saying that it was not good for a week...Nani finds that unbelievable ... Anjali jumps in says, "She can go next week too..You know that I believe in these things... " Khushi leaves after excusing herself.. Nani and Anjali feel that Khushi must be more upset now that she cannot go to see Arnav. Nani asks Anbjali if the ticket could be postponed till next week, Anjali answers in affirmative and also adds, 'Who Know Chhotey might be back by then.."

Khushi closes the door behind her and says to herself, "I feel bad about lying to Nani and Anjali... but how could I tell them the truth either.." What happened on the way to airport flashes back in front of her eyes..A phone call that would shatter her life.."...I got you rnumber from Delhi office..may I talk to Arnav Singh Raizada!..." only to find out that Arnav never reached LOndon..he never checked in in the hotel...in fact, he never boarded the flight to London!... Person on the other said asks her if she knows where he is... Khushi says, "No " and cuts th ephone off...shocked..shattered...






Most emotional Moment: Khushi's mind backtracks...how Anjali told her about Arnav's flight leaving in three hours...how she rushed to teh airport..how she pleaded to him..to wait..not to leave.. how he sais, yes, he was really leaving.. how heavy hearted he was.. how tearful she was..how she snatche dhi ticket and passport to make him stop without success.. how he granted her the time she asked for... how he shielded her from other people..how she held his hand tight...how she kept pleading and how he left..after pulling his hand out of her tight grip..intense pain in his eyes..left without looking back... how she got the call just now..her words.."You truly are leaving"..echoed back by his.."Yes, I am really leaving..." I loved it! I had goosebumps! I went on an emotional roller coaster ride with Khushi...

(Author's Note: I loved the mixing and editing..this scene was wonderfully put together...it had the essence of Khushi's turmoil)

Khushi now extremely worried..thinks, "Something is wrong..something is very wrong... Something might have happend to him.. my heart can sense it..Where are you, Arnav ji?...If he were not on that flight then where did he go?..." Khushi keeps thinking...
