Hey guys...,I have been really missing Lavanya. So i just wrote this short*coughs* really long OS with her,Arnav and Khushi. Do read it...:D
P.S..this is all after the post misunderstanding clearing...everything is perfectly fine between Arnav and Khushi...:)
OS:Eyes so beautiful...

"ASR, just tell me!! Its a very simple question,you should have the answer at the tip of your tongue!!", Lavanya said trying to prise the answer out of her ex-boss, ex-fianc and now a very good friend.
Arnav shook his head. Firstly, he was still not over the awkwardness that he sometimes felt around Lavanya because of what had happened between them. Sure, she was a friend now, a term that Arnav Singh Raizada hardly ever used for anyone. But still, she was his ex-fianc, and answering to a question like THAT to her was not helping the awkwardness. He wondered why she didn't feel awkward asking the question.
So to avoid the question, he said,trying to add an ASR edge to it so that it would sound like he was ver angry,"No, Lavanya. I'm not going to answer it. Besides what if she comes in? She will tease me till I reach my grave!!"
But gone were the days when Lavanya Kashyap would get scared of ASR. She no longer backed away when he spoke. In fact, now she was even more determined to get an answer from him. She was in Delhi after a long time and that too for a few days. She had missed out on all the pulp and now ASR was not even letting her have the juice now!!
No, she wouldn't let him off the hook so easily. She would get what she wanted. By hook or by crook!
She made a sour face, folded her arms over her chest and retorted,"You know she would never do anything of the sort. She is the sweetest thing there is. She would never even think of using something like that against you? What kind of a husband thinks like that about his wife?" She wagged her finger at him in disapproval and went on," Besides, she is at the temple with Di, Nani, and Payal. They are not going to be back before an hour and the answer is going to take ten minutes at the most. So stop dishing out the ASR attitude and treat your friend a little nicely by giving the answer."
Arnav sighed and mulled over what she had said. He knew she was right. There was no way they were going to be back before an hour. Ever since Khushi-Payal had come in RM, Di and Nani's visits to the temples had become even more frequent, now that they had such an enthusiastic company with them. Every month they would come up with more religious places from every nook and corner of the country and make plans to visit the place. Just last month he had put his foot down and refused to let them go to any temple except the ones in Delhi after their plan to visit some temple in North India for fifteen days. He was sure that if they were ever declared bankrupt it would be solely because of their trips.
He looked at Lavanya's crestfallen face which would melted any guy by just looking at her huge brown puppy eyes and decided that he would give her the answer.
He opened his mouth to speak and then shut it again. "But it is just so silly!" the part of the brain which was controlled by ASR told him. But then the other part controlled by Arnav spoke up,"But she is your friend. This is the least you can do for her." He sighed inwardly. A inner conflict of Arnav-ASR was the last thing that he needed right now. ASR's voice jumped back in,"But you are not one of those romantic actors that they show all the time." Arnav's voice was just going to speak up in defense when Lavanya's voice which was irritated and annoyed now cut through his thoughts,
"OK. This is just too much. I did not ask you sign over your property in my name that you are thinking so much. I'm going to ask you the question one last time. What is the best thing that you like about Khushi? Now if you don't answer, I swear to Khushi's Devi Maiyya I will make you feel guilty for not telling me about your marriage to her for the rest of your life!!"
Arnav looked at Lavanya and then down at the floor,too embarrassed to say anything. Lavanya looked at the man in front of him, muttered an "Unbelievable" under her breath and was about to walk out of his room when his sudden voice stopped her in her tracks. She didn't catch what he had said and so she said,"Come again?"
He gave Lavanya a frustrated glare and said once again,"Her eyes."
Lavanya grinned,finally getting her answer but she realized very soon that Arnav Singh Raizada had just started.
He went on, now addressing no one in general but just speaking because he couldn't stop himself.
"Her eyes are the windows to her soul and mind. One look into them and I know what she is thinkng about.
She could have been a very good liar,you know if it had not been for her eyes. Whenever she tries to lie, very slightly, her eyes will look down. They are the softest of the browns and they are so expressive they will put any actress to shame.
Have you ever noticed her eyes when she smiles and laughs? They crinkle at the edges and make her look even more beautiful than she already is. And when she is listening to someone talk, she doesn't blink for a long time because she listens with the rapt attention of an obedient school kid. You should see her watching television, you'll know what I mean.
And then when she is making jalebies, she concentrates so much as if its the most important task of her life. I have never concentrated so much while reading a contract,trust me.
Oh and when she is surprised or scared, they go so round and big but I just love the few moments when they widen like a deer's eyes.
When she cries, which thankfully isn't a lot now, tears will stain her face and the only thing that will be on your mind will be what should I do so that they stop?
When she is feeling shy or embarassed, they will look anywhere but the face which is teasing her. And this makes teasing her even more fun.
When she is up to some mischief, being Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada that she is, her eyes will light up like a child and you know immediately that she is up to no good but then when you look at her you'll realize that you just want her to be happy and so you will get ready to be fooled by her just to see smile in glee!!
But the best is when she is angry, most of the times at me. Her eyes will narrow and look at you in a way which will make you feel like any moment arrows will be shot from them at you. Believe it or not, sometimes they even scare me!! But I love it because she looks so fierce when she is angry that it just makes my day!!"
Arnav finally finished speaking and found himself grinning at a very teary eyed Lavanya. For a moment, he was shocked that he had probably hurt her in some way but the she grinned at him and he felt relief as he realized that she is happy for him.
Lavanya wiped her tears and grinned widely. ASR was a changed man and it was all thanks to Khushi. She was very happy for both of them. She had known they were meant for each other and though she did not know how they got married or under what circumstances, it hardly mattered because they were where they belonged'with each other. She was glad he had not let go off Khushi.
She asked him," You love her a lot don't you?"
He whispered back," A lot. A lot more than I thought I did. She is everything to me, everything I could ask for and much more than that. Thank you Lavanya, I would never have realized my feelings hadn't it been for you. I will owe you for my whole life"
The two friends smiled at each other in understanding when the person whose eyes Arnav had so lovingly described a while ago entered the room and asked suspiciously her oh-so-handsome husband,"And who exactly do you love so much that Lavanyaji knows and I don't?"
They were surprised to see her home so early but they masked it.
Lavanya smiled cheekily at them both and then said," So should I tell her ASR who were we talking about?"
Arnav smirked and said," Go on. Tell her. She has every right to know about her after all."
Lavanya went to her and whispered in Khushi's ear," You."
Khushi smiled shyly as Lavanya went out of the room to give them some privacy.
Khushi went up to him and hugged him. He put his arms around her waist as she held on to him. She then said, her voice hesitant, "Arnavji..."
Arnav said,"Hmmm..." asking her to go on. She said very slowly," Do you really think I am not a good liar? You know I could practice and make myself better."
He grinned in her hair and asked," You heard the whole thing?"
She replied impatiently,"Yes, but that is not the point. Just tell me, am I really that bad a liar? I thought my lies were perfectly plausible!!"
Arnav grinned wider if that was possible," Shut up Khushi. Don't ruin the moment please."
But Khushi was not done. She would get her answer. Maybe some other day. But she would. She was not Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada for no reason. Right now there was one more thing that she had to say. She spoke, her head comfortable on his chest," You do know that I am going to tease you for the rest of your life, as long as you are stuck with me?"
She felt his chest rumble with laughter and he spoke laughter in his voice," That is what I exactly told Lavanya. Yes I know that. And you know what?I am perfectly fine with it as long as you are with me."
They stood like that for a long time,enjoying the warmth their bodies imparted,unaware of the world and its happenings.
