Besides after taking 3 months to bring the MU into the open between the leads (i'm so glad both spoke their mind without holding anything back), it just does not make sense for the CV's to increase the MU and portray Khushi as so naive. Plus i think Arnav will be a bigger fool if he signs the documents without reading them properly esp given that he does not trust Khushi completely at this stage.
I think they are creating suspense and twists to stretch the story to make room for Barun's leave and bring in some drama to fill the episodes. Plus this may lead to some more Shyam-Khushi interactions which will lead her to understand that Shyam has poisoned Arnav's mind against her. Lets see how it plays out..

This is going to be the big "lakshman Rekha" that khushi is going to cross, I guess, in the writer's mind and there is no going back. This murkiness has to be crossed whether we like it or not. This is how the writers seem to have made it relevant in this story.

And since when I read the big R, I read with my present sense of morality, I am never able to accept.

I used to even interrogate my grandmother on the whys and wherefores, and this is only a serial, I guess...
