Sathya for the first time I have researched on the title before thinking of writing anything. I could not make out the head and tails of the episode when I saw it first and then I saw the title of Redux - Harlequin. I wondered what it meant and I googled (Google is God after all) - I found something that interested me and I could kind of add one or two things together - could be wrong on it though.😛 No doubt - if I forget about Arnav and Khushi today - it was all about Shyam and Shyam alone and boy was it a pleasure to watch him!
So now what did my research says about Harlequin!? - Harlequin - one meaning says clown and buffoon while the other stresses - the French meaning - an old fashion word meaning Demon and is also known as Devil's kin. Now coming to today's episode - for me it was the return of Shyam Manohar Jha and his return in its full sense - The demon of the Raizada family.
Shyam Manohar Jha : Devil's kin - Anjali Jha - the clown aka Joker
By now everyone must know how badly I have been missing Shyam in action. I needed to see him to move the story, to see his after reactions to what he had seen in the file and to understand what his motives could be. However we were kept deprived of it.
But today Shyam made an entry - and the scene where we started with was the one where his self respect was in question - where we are actually shown why he is with Anjali and how much he is dependent on her. Shyam Manohar Jha is nothing without Anjali Jha and most importantly without Arnav Singh Raizada. One step taken by Arnav to not transfer money in his account and his self respect comes in question. Shyam has always been dependent upon the Raizada's for his lavish life-style and today he felt that dependence. He felt his ego thrashed left right and centre when Anjali came down to write the check and when the executives sniggered at him. Who says Arnav has not done anything to Shyam? He is giving him a chance - but he is also making him realize that if Anjali is dependent on Shyam and trusts him blindly then so does Shyam needs Anjali for his survival.
Arnav has hurt Shyam in two possible ways and that is what is going to send Shyam attacking Arnav as soon as possible.
1) Money : Shyam's main reason to stick with Anjali is the money and Arnav has made sure that it does not reach him. That has sent Shyam already going mad and this will lead to his next attack - which will be on Arnav.
2) Khushi :I have always believed that its not lust only that guides Shyam to Khushi its more than that - its obsessiveness for her - yes may not be love - but she was his desire - something that he wanted for himself and Arnav has taken that away from him also again giving Shyam another reason to attack Arnav though the first one would be the important one.
Like I said - Shyam is dependent on Anjali - here the other Harlequin - the clown - the Joker - is Anjali. She is Shyam's trump card to everything and anything as of now. And most importantly he knows how to play her and today he played on it. He has to stay at RM for every reason in the world - this is where the main battle will take place before it is shifted to the Gupta Household. Khushi - Shyam - Arnav and Anjali the 4 main warriors of this impending war will be here and for anyone to make a move the opponent has to be right there and Shyam did exactly that - he stayed at RM for he needs to keep an eye on the next move Arnav makes and obviously secondly the guy is penniless.
Shyam has to be at RM for the terrace confrontation (as Doodhs puts it) between him and Khushi to happen. Moreover Arnav knows the hold that Shyam has on Anjali and also Anjali's need to shift to her own house as shown time and again. This time what has primarily deterred Shyam from even thinking about shifting and making Anjali fall - was the file that Arnav had kept. Most of us are guessing that this file is nothing but a bait while Arnav has the original file. Nevertheless the file made sure the 4 major players stick in RM before the truth dawns to either of Khushi or Arnav.
Shyam the savior : Today when Anjali fell - and finally Shyam was successful in at least one of his plans - she was about to fall and hit her stomach and hence the death of the baby. Bothers me - will Anjali actually have the baby when time comes!? Shyam saved her and the close shot of him putting her hand on her stomach and pulling her makes me believe that if Anjali is his trump card then the baby is the ace. The baby is the reason that will keep Shyam in the house in the future also.
Was it me or Mami did look doubtfully at Shyam today after she did not see the grease and Anjali expressed her concern over it!? 😕
Khushi - Arnav : Maar daala
Okay - yesterday I could understand Khushi's reasons but today it was carrying it a bit too far! Why are we even having this track extended!?
However - All I could think was - Two wives - Anjali and Khushi - both in love with their husbands - one consciously and the other sub-consciously. Two husbands - Shyam and Arnav -one is love with some one else and the other in love both consciously and sub-consciously in love with his wife.
However look at the irony - Shyam tries to kill his wife - who dotes on him and the wife does not even bat an eyelash or think her husband capable of anything. The other scene - Arnav does nothing but his wife keeps running around the bush saving herself of an impending death.
If only life was simpler in Arnav Khusi Land! 🥱
The rat bites the bag : Came in as a later thought - Arnav's laptop bag which supposedly hides the actual important file in it was bitten by the rats in the house. The actual rat of the Raizada family - Shyam Manohar Jha - has also taken the file from the drawer. It is Buaji who gives the antidote to Arnav to kill the rat in the house while Garima goes to mend what was destroyed. Similarly Bauji will be the Hathiyaar or the antedote against Shyam - for Arnav while Garima will try and mend everything that shyam has and will destroy.
Bubbli and Akash - Payal
Okay firstly - is it me or have Akash and Payal become too cheesy with their display of affections!? I do not like it for some reason. Moreover - Bubbly does not seem to help the matter. I get it - for Bubbly Akash is like her father figure - her closest family member - but her playing detective on Akash and Payal and ruining their date and then that smirk in the end - she is exactly like a jealous girl friend. 😕 She is kind of creating differences between Payal and Akash and if this continues - with Shyam's truth and all - the gap will just widen even more.
Moreover I fail to see what she wants exactly. I can see she is insecure with Akash and Payal's relationship - because she thinks that she will lose her Mr. A if he gets close to "bhabhs". But isn't it taking it too far!?
Akash and Payal's relationship : There relationship for me is anybhing but perfect and I say that because apart from their cheesy dialogues and eye contacts I feel they practically lack complete understanding of each other. Infact I never understood why they fell in love with each other at all. Now coming to Arnav and Khushi - whatever the situation - their relationship is STRONG! So maybe a push is needed from Bubbly to give them a reality check of what their relationship is about.
But something got me thinking : Akash was the one who put the papers next to the candle to be spoiled deliberately by Bubbly, yet Payal was blamed for it and Akash did not give her that benefit of doubt. What will happen when he comes to know that Payal hid the biggest truth of her life from him!? Will he listen to her!? I don't think so. I think Akash and Payal's relationship is going to suffer the hardest blow since in my opinion it is the weakest.
I am still giving Bubbly the benefit of doubt because I am waiting for her interaction with Arnav but she does not give me very positive vibes.

1) Very bad editing with Khushi's dream sequence. However Barun did look like a killer. 😆
2) Very Glad that Shyam, Anjali and Nani are back on scene. Was really happy to see them
3) Need to end Khushi's ridiculous idea of Arnav trying to kill her - will confess good to see her scared for a change 😆

Well this is it!! May have interpreted wrongly - since these days its hard to decipher and decode the episodes.
