Let me explain.

IPKKND started off as a daily soap. It went on to become a cult romance that all of us got attracted to.

It won the hearts of the intellectuals, the not so intellectual and the common and the high nosed too.

Then it went on in the soap opera mode: silly, brainless and sometimes beautiful.

So I feel the problem is not with IPKKND, but with us the viewers.

It set out to please some and tries to please all and ends up pleasing none except those who just look at it at some entertainment.

It probably never set out to become a cult.

It probably never had hidden meanings we want.

It probably never wanted to be intellectual.

It probably never wanted to be an epic love story, but just an ordinary one.

We made it that way and now we can't blame them for not being all that we want it to be.

It's our fault that we saw a glimpse of heaven and wanted it everyday.

It's our fault we wanted meaning in every frame and now we are disappointed.

It's our fault that we want the magic of IPKKND each day, but the makers never realized that they had created was magic.

So I will rest my case here and curtail my expectations from IPKKND. I finaly realized it is a daily soap and not an epic or a cult that I wanted or made it out to be.

Despite all this it is a far better show than any I have watched and I will be happy with that.

For those saying the problem is with them I couldn't agree more. You are right. The problem is with them. But the thing is they do not realize what a beautiful gem they have on their hands and how fanatic the following is. Even if they do realize they are complacent about it.

But at the end of the day we too are pushing them for more and more. Probably it's because of the standards they set. But guys, a kid who comes first in 5 exams can't come come first all the time.

I liked today's episode, for once it was Shyam that made me love it. The pace is getting intense, even though Arnav was not meant to know, he will... and hence the promo will happen!

Sorry Rima. We are not the problem. We are the consumers here. Their success depends on what they can sell to us and to the advertisers. No audience, no advertisers. This is a business and if they want their consumers back - they need to fix their product.

yeah. i have resigned myself to the fact that in a daily soap you can't expect logic and high points all the time

ASR n dat gardening knife act was all so very silly for me...who vl imagine him lyk dat... n yes ofcurse its our fault or addiction watevah coz my family members keep on saying wat crap is dis but its only me who act as a blind supporter of d show...

Yes Rima you are right we are expecting too much from Cv's, but seriously today i had my dose...I am just thinking what will be the repentance track ? Are we also hoping and expecting to much for that also...I think so 😭

No, we did not set standards. Did you produce and air the episodes as a viewers or did the production house? They set the standards with their own product.

its their fault that they have such wonderful leads (both in character and actor) to ruin..like if everything wasn't so perfect from where would they ruin something? 😆 yeah, IPK did not promise to be a cult show; so little point there in us feeling cheated. But neither did it promise to be a comedy show. and yet i watch it everyday at 8:00 sigh*
