Ladies (and Gentlemen ????š) of the REDUX thread, kindly, stand up and take a bow!!!!
Today when I watched the episode I knew for a fact that the CV's had not only done their job they have read this thread.
Over all well done guys. Without you, I for one would have lost interest when the OTT behaviour started.
Today was the triumphant return of the real Khushi Kumari Gupta.
One very important trait of hers was dusted off the black board today. She treats the world how she expects to be treated. Unfortunately, she doesn't understand that the world has its own set of selfish, egoistic rules, those, a certain Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada knows all too well. So today, we saw Khushi try to chop the weeds growing in Preeto's life, and Arnav he pulls them out from the root and make sure that the soil is so conditioned that they never grow again. What is different is the approach but also life experience.
Khushi thinks she can shoulder the responsibility, she has never been able to by herself, her dad has spoilted her because he dotts on her ( coming from a spoilt kid I know) He has taught her to she can do all things, we have seen her do the accounts for his shop, repair cars and make jalebies to be sold. But what he hasn't taught her is that he was there to balance the relationship when she was being too straight forward. Yes she can do everything, but she has to think about the reprecussions of her actions. SHE NEVER DOES.
Arnav on the other hand actually shoulders the responsibility for himself and his family, Anjali. He doesn't have time to explain the finer details he will teach you a lesson by crushing you, if you can stand up he will respect you if not he won't think about you again.
Let me just say CV's, PH amazing story telling here.
I'm sure after Doods, and the rest will update, and I will feel totally chootu trying to walk in my guru's stilletos but these are my thoughts.
I loved the build up to the MU clearing. LOVE IT!!!! LOVE THAT KHUSHI AND ARNAV ARE TRYING TO DECODE ONE AND OTHER. ASR ( or Arnav's mind) wants to condemn her, Arnav ( his heart) won't let him. He is forced to see the big picture, he is forcing himself, and that is the best part. And my GOD Barun is fantastic. ( DON'T leave for Bollywood P.L.E.A.S.E). Finally, Khushi can no longer sweep the ugly truth of her marriage under the carpet of her beautiful smile. She must know why he did what he did. Brillant Sanaya,( I'm so glad you are not Jeevika).
Ok so now back to my favorite section. I only write this section because the CV's and PH and to some extent the channel have let me down, you cannot make me addict to a show and then offer substandard quality of my drug and expect me to take it. EXCUSE ME but we live in the generation of social media so you will feel my wrath. Was today's episode good? yes it was. Can you do better ???? Unfortunately you can. I'm not complaining just giving you constructive criticism. Hopefully you will use these.
Advice to the CV's:
1. SHYAM MANOHAR JHA: So here is a character who is just as layered as a certain ASR. But where ASR is good and dil ka saaf. Shyam is the opposite. He has the gift of gabb, charm and is a damn good actor because he has the world fooled about his intentions. He is the mastermind. Every step he takes is carefully thought out, and he places his pawns to act and react in a certain way. So far, we have seen him try to get the key to the locker, he finds out Arnav's will states that he has left everything for Anjali. SO????? Arnav has to die for Anjali to get anything. Are you implying that Shyam is planning on killing Arnav??? I DO NOT GET IT!!! This guy is your one and only villian. And he is the worst kind. The master manipulator, in order to get him out one has to get their hands dirty, so Arnav is in the dirt dealing with him, Khushi is trying to get away from him but as long as she is silent she is right in their with them. ( don't mean to be quoting REDUX's triangle theory, I don't remember which guru came up with that one). The MU clearing is only just the tip of the iceberg named Shyam. He must weave such a tangled web that everyone will be hurt and involved. I will be very dissappointed with this PH if they coopout and Anjali has a miscarriage. VERY!!! I mean you guys should get a nomination for nayi sooch kirdar for next years SPA nahš. I don't want Shyam to dissappear after the MU clears I actually want him to create some major ASHANTI in SHANTIVAN!!!
Getting to the point. here is what I want to see happening, I need Shyam to be show everyday or everyother day. Not only shown that he is frustrated with his situation with Anjali and not being able to get to Khushi but also that he is planning his master stroke against Arnav. He is getting his pawns Mami, Mamaji, Nani and Anjali even Arnav because he is blinded by the MU to do this bidding.
This needs to happen. NOW!!!!
2. GREAT JOB with showing the good in Arnav and Khushi followed by the misunderstood actions. This is where we should have been. This needs to be show everyday or every other day. Create confussion in the minds of your leading pair.
3. Today we saw Amma ask Khushi about Arnav, tomorrow or sometime soon I want to see Buaji broach the subject of Shyam, atleast ask if Khushi has told Arnav about him. Encourage her to tell him, to quell any further misunderstanding. ABSOLUETLY NECESSARY!!!!
4. Just out of curiosity, a wedding in 2 days but a MU for 6 months??? I understand we are peeling the onion that is the characters of Khushi and Arnav. But it also necessary to understand the other characters, Payal, Akash, Mamaji and mostly SHYAM, I mean Laxmi has more screen time then him sometimes.
5 Did you fire Bubli??? Why is she here?? Whats wrong guys can you not handle parallel story lines? I mean you did it before? SORRY!!! No more sarcasm. I do love you guys:)
6. You guys know the rhythm is not going to get Barun... Why make him dance???? He has a good voice make him sing or something else.
Finally, I did not expect to write on this thread during the week, but today's episode made my heart bleed ( overly dramatic SRK fanatic, that is who I am). I had to share my thoughts. When Khushi said "woh duniya ke sab se acche pati hai" I died a little, as did Arnav and Khushi. Beautifully done!!! Honestly, you guys hit the jackpot with Sanaya and Barun, I get so mad when I think that SP did not acknowledge her talent individually.
