I think Barun's future with IPK lies with the outcome of this film, if the film is a success or even if he is really appreciated then it will be bye bye 😭

I just hope the PH have a backup plan. if BS does want to leave before the actual end date (whenever that might be), I just hope they wrap up the show properly; tying up all the loose ends before he goes. Now these thoughts should already be going thought their minds, but with these people its hard to predict. I just hope they dont let us down like they did with fans from their previous show .

The movie will take a while to release (Dec 2012 or Jan 2013). I don't know how soon the show will end. I don't think Barun will be leaving IPKKND. What if the movie doesn't do well ? He cannot cut his ties to the TV world, as it is not easy to return. Remember when one male actor left some show, the producer said - you leave TV, then TV will leave you.

As he has said, he will sail on both boats, as long as he can.

Yeah, I agree in that BS will not quit during the making of this film, and he's made that quite clear in a few interviews. But what about once the film is released, what if it does well at the box office and he has producers, directors knocking at his door. Is he still going to juggle films and TV. He's already exhausted from doing the hours on this show, how is he going to play a lead in a TV serial as well as a lead in a bollywood film, something has to give. There is no way he could do both, he'll burn himself out.

I remember when he told NK on BBC radio that he wanted to do films, now he has a foot in the door. There is more money and a variety of roles to portray. Look I'll be honest I don't want him to leave, I'm a bigger fan of Arnav/IPKKND than Barun. But if this is his dream and what he wants to do, then ALL THE BEST. Nissar Parvez has a 500 epi formula rule, no idea when that will be, I just hope he manages to tell the story and tell it well while we still have BS.

😆 I guess we can worry about that after the movie releases. For now just anticipate Arnav's return and he will be on the show regularly after first week of June.

500 episode forumula. we are on episode 256 at the moment so 500 episodes we shall complete by early next year? If the show survives through then and has decent TRP's and SP doesn't axe it then we have nothing to worry about.

When is posters with Barun going to b releasd!! Excitd to see dat. I want 2 c him in another role..! N there is nothing to worry abt IPK. If its a 500epi serial, then also by the next 7 months, we wil be around there. I honestly feel IPK is not d kind of show that can b draggd to 3,4 yrs n with generation leaps. Just waiting for Barun.. Both in serial n d movie..! Ya, with a bollywood tag n being well connectd to tv viewers, i think he has got a good option in 'Ads' too in d future

Yeah, I agree - this story doesn't have more meat than the romance between Arshi, so it I don't believe it will stretch too long. The CVs didn't take the time to build any other character or stub-story.

Although I do love the intense love-story between the leads. It is really exciting.
