• He himself has said shows provide steady income.
• He needs to be successful in bollywood to leave this show and it takes time to make a movie, for it to release and then sign other movies
• His role is likely to be less as he is doing the show too. So as of now no worries.
• Barun knows a character like ASR on TV is worth tons of movies and it brought him to the limelight. So he is not going to give it up that easily.
• Last but not the least Barun needs the back up of IPKKND in case his movie venture is not as successful as planned (God forbid. Barun deserves the success)
• He is also in a contract with SP and the IPKKND Production House. That can't be broken. This was pointed out in the comments in this thread.
• If shooting has started there and he is still shooting for IPKKND it is not a lead role.
• When Amitabh, shah rukh, salman, hrithik and the one movie a year aamir are coming to TV, why would a popular TV star completely move to movies?

So don't fret over it.

I completely agree with you rima i do nt know where this rumour started..we have nt yet gt any confirmation frm barun's side or any official news regd this.His acting and display of emotions is jst out of the way...bt if getting into movies was so easy and giving hits was so easy then why Rajiv Khandelwal,Aaamna Sharif dissappeared in to thin air..rajiv has only Sach ka samna woth mentioning all his movies have either struck or flop...

He needs to be successful in bollywood to leave this show and it takes time to make a movie, for it to release and then sign other movies----any movie does nt start the nexy day..it takes a ages for movies to go on flr...

he is nt stupid to put hi career on stake for some chota mota role...small roles are worth if oits for dir like madhur bhandarkar,yash chpra,rajkumar hirani..else its jst waste of time and money

Also we don't know how long this movie shoot is gonna go on till. If he is not the main lead then maybe his schedule for the movie is about a month or so in which case the production house will not need to replace him at all.

Only because Mishti has been giving spilers regd ipkknd which have been true don't think this news is also true..he is tired as he is unwell...there has no official confirmation anywhere he is acting in a movie not even in internet and nt even news channal have flashed..anything..so till we get official conf pl be quiet and see ipkknd
