The Balancesheet...

Lets just look at all the hoop la over the public humiliation of a semi god figure ASR...and the public humiliation, a middle class girl, was subjected to at his hands...his staff locked her up in a room..captive ...bombarding her with questions...when released ...he actually broke her blouse strings...(i know one of our most cherished memories..but when ppl get serious about humiliation and rights and wrongs..then lets get down to business)...his actions led to the greatest humiliation any family can suffer and disgrace..their elder daughter's wedding got cancelled..(can we top that...ofcourse we are talking about ASR here...he can top this any time...actually tops this in a day)...releases deliberately the video footage of the embarrassing event..with snide and disgusting remarks...thrown in for extra spice...err humiliation...forget that word..its an understatement..the consequence... the girl is almost raped on the streets of her hometown...her whole family shame facedly uproots and to save their honor and dignity moves to another city...now ..lets talk about shame and humiliation...lets talk about childish tit for tat...lets talk about crossing boundaries of decencies..any takers...anyone??..

Later, this same sophisticated and dignified ASR...drops this girl like a hot potato from his office...err its okay if she is splashed with paint..and his whole work place laugh their heads off at this village idiot...big deal...she is not ASR..so its okay...he delegates her the work of taking measurements for guys..for gods sake...makes her hold a fur coat and stand like a coat rack for 5 hours...publicly...that so not humiliating..asks her..actually demands that she wears an outfit she is obviously not comfortable in...thats his way of showing love...makes her stand in the downpour...soaking to the skin..to act as a parking attendant late at night...err ..big deal...ASR is so hot...if he asks u to do anything for u...it should be treated as a big honor...Khushi should just run to do his bidding..right...

I think only the first two months have provided me with ample ammunition..i dont even want to go further...my pov stated with plenty of solid proof...

Seriously...i can make mulitple posts outlining in detail..the innumerable ways Khushi has been publicly humiliated, insulted..embarrassed...made to look like a fool, and a moral less gold digger by him...but m not in the mood to write a chronicle...

I do understand that we come from different sense and sensibilities...different stratas of society...from different countries...different age groups...for some who have been exposed to the harsh realites existing in a country like India..this is not a big deal..for some who have never seen this picture of stark existence...this can be ewww...and unbearable... just one request when expressing your views try to keep an open mind...just becuase you have not seen or experienced certain facets of life..does not mean that it does not exist or it is wrong...

We do have a totally different set of rules for the two protagonists...while one is loved and adored because of his flaws..because he is imperfect and human...the other is harshly criticized for being the same...we are unforgiving towards one...expecting her to be a perfect woman...while on the other hand the man is found more interesting because of his anti hero persona...justice...fairness...anyone??

P.S...If this is called public disgrace than atleast hundreds of men are publicly humiliated on the streets in India like this on a daily basis...but the more shocking truth...even women are forced to do this...gut wrenching..shameful?? no, thats survival...now thats what is called being humiliated at the hands of circumstance...
