At the risk of being bashed left and right ..Shall I say my honest opinion.. When Barun started out as ASR, he either imitated or was forced to ape the actor of their previous hit show ..watch the mannerisms of Barun, it reminds u that previous actor , the wide eyes, the stride etc ... but later Barun began to bring in his own nuances and he slowly moved away from that established character and carved a niche for himself...now u see Barun without the shadow of that character..

So while we are at this Arshad Vs. LM discussion, I cannot help but wonder how much can a director do to salvage a show that has gone off track? At the end of the day, the writers are the one who have more power, they are the only ones who can steer things back on track..Directors can improve the execution, or help in bringing out the best in actors, and IPK is already blessed with a talented star cast as it is..Do the directors ever have a say in the story or where its heading? Are their inputs taken into consideration?
