Hi!!!! I am a new member to this forum although I have been a silent reader for many months.

This is the first OS I have written so plz tell me if I should continue!

OS: The End of Darkness

Prologue: Khushi POV

Thats it.

I give up.

No more.

Why do I keep trying to make him happy? He will never accept that I have done no wrong to him or his family. He will never treat me as his wife. I have been feeling hurt everyday for the past 3 months of our "marriage" and I am done pretending to be happy. I am so tired of acting day by day to be someone I am not. A khush Khushi.

I feel empty. No anger or bitterness towards him. No security with being with kind people. Just a strange hollowness.

The last thing he said to me was "Go To Hell"

The man I loved told me to go to hell.

I will.

Thank you so much for the great response I got for the prologue.

Now without further ado...

Part 1:

Khushi sat by the poolside. Her resolve was fixed. She was going to leave as soon as possible.

Even if its under a white sheet.

The longer she sat there the more sure she became. She remembered all of the cruel words and gestures she received. From everyone.

From the people she would do anything for.

She wanted to cry. She wanted to scream and yell. She wanted to be angry. She wanted to blame all of her misery on someone.

But she couldn't.

She couldn't understand this feeling. This hollowness that was consuming her. She felt trapped inside her own head. She felt like she was trapped in some sort of a nightmare. She couldn't feel anything. She couldn't believe that this was her reality.

She pushed one of the pots on the ground. She thought she was a ghost.

That no matter what she did, it would have no effect on the world.

To her relief it fell.

She began to push more and more of them to the ground. She could hear them crash. She saw the broken bits scattered everywhere.

And for a second she heard her conscience. It was worried about Arnav. How would he react to all of his well taken care of pots being destroyed?

She began to laugh. It was insane laughter. She was awed about how after all the horrible things he has done to her.

She was worried about his reaction.

She began to walk forward dazed. And she stepped on a broken piece. She saw her blood dripping. And for a second she just stared and marveled at how blood is just like water, except that its a much brighter color.

His favorite color.

And then the pain hit.

She was able to cry because of the pain. On her foot. On her life. It was all able to come out. Along with the blood.

And far out she heard footsteps. They were some what recognizable.

And she felt a chill run down her back just by the sound.

And as soon as realization hit.

The world went black.

End of Part 1😲

looks interesting!!i'm curious to know who it is..but i guess it is Arnav cz she recognized the sound of the footsteps...
or is it shyam, cz she said 'somewhat recognizable' and she felt afraid..

nicely written..do continue..n send me a PM when u update pls:-)
