I love the Frey quote...it embodies the lovers' sentiments so precisely. However, in this case, the minds are still at unease because of the trust issue. As you mention elsewhere in the update, Khushi understands something is bothering him, but she is at a loss as to what that could possibly be! She equates it to him being angry for no reason, as he has been with her in the past! You are absolutely correct--she is still learning about ASR, the man. He is the biggest riddle in her life.
A tour de force explanation of how the scenes from yesterday differed from the terrace scene...the connect to his anger & his inability to think when he's angry per Anjali & the letter. I do believe that something in the Shyam & Khushi scene made him aware that he has misunderstood her...Somewhere subconsciously it was there. Coupled with this the fact that he did not go into a full blown rage shows that something in the equation was not right for him. Which is why he questioned her! He wanted her to come clean...he was ready to hear the answer, whatever that maybe! And when she did not answer him, he leveled with her...he was in full control of his emotions...Yep, he has now studied her...and what he is learning will serve him well when the truth is finally revealed. Letting go of one's subjective thoughts is very difficult! Both of them have to learn this lesson first before TRUST can build!
Loved your take on the triangle...on Wednesday it was the Anj-Shyam-Khushi triangle, today the triangle manifests with the apex (Anjali) being intact but one side changing...I also like your pt. abt the mother figure in all this. A mother knows everything...if we connect this to Anjali, it makes sense that she has all the cards...she is aware...Coming to your pt. abt Khushi and ASR's twisted logic to show he knows best: here is where the nut & its cracker come in (yes, I have watched the play several times...its a Christmas tradition here😊!) She can see through his anger, his logic...but she cannot fathom the main reason for the anger...the wall has yet to be scaled & brought down!
The Rabba Ve moment...for it was one long moment in two dimensions, really! Again, what a beautiful explanation! She chose her destiny when she walked into the office...he did not know what she meant to him when he let go of her in that office scene...But yes, yesterday, he chose her! He wanted her...because he has always known that to be the truth. Where his mind has told him that she has betrayed, his heart knows the truth...yesterday that came to the surface! Indeed, ASR became Arnav...& yes, he will never let her fall, ever!
