The leads in this show were likeable because, in addition to the obvious appeal, their personalities were consistent and they thought somewhat logically.
I attended a screenwriting class and I was told that never make your lead characters take an irrational, illogical or stupid descision as the audience will lose respect for the characters and just stop caring.
Khushi and Arnav are too busy fighting their litte battles - one upmanship, manhandling each other, arguing over who's better, who's winning.
But they're not even talking about the elephant in the room, the WAR! They're not talking about Shyam!
They need to act logically to win back the respect they are rapidly losing!
