and lol all this confusion came from the fact that ASR dresses usually in the finest Armani suits to the office that when he wore similar to SPA no one differentiated!!!😆

u r correct the Kokila lady despite always having heavy hindi liners is usually not as overbearing off screen and doesn't bring that I am the lord of the world thing usually and doesn't make me wanna get inside and wring her neck!! which i was feeling yesterday with 'meri Aham dikra mahan' crap!

and really when he came up with Sanaya, he was his goofy self totally!!just like the 2 of them r at interviews on the sets!!😆

totally agree...thats exactly what i thought when I saw him hosting..he was typical ASR short crisp and to the point...he was not Barun Sobti...we saw the shy, humble BS when he collected his awards...😊

I agree with you completely! This is the first thing I thought of when I heard that some people thought Barun was not a good host. We have to remember that the Star Parivaar awards are not like regular award shows. The stars come dressed as their characters and are essentially playing their characters throughout the show...heck, they even use the character's names when they announce winners and talk about each other. ASR has one of the most subtle yet complex characters on TV and therefore is probably the most sophisticated. Barun can't joke and talk in his is Punjabi accent because he has to play ASR just like Viren has to play Viren and Gopi has to play Gopi. I think you could sense that he was a little nervous when he did the dance but that's alright because I couldn't take my eyes off of him and all I could say was "awww..." I thoroughly enjoyed the IPKKND team at the awards...they were the best. They aren't over the top and were so classy (their dress, their attitude, everything). I think they had the best family feel going on (Diya aur baati came in at a close second). Either way, loved Barun and ASR at the SPAs. Loved Barun's and the team's jokes at the stand (third wheel, before she begins blabbering, "mammi papa") Overall, couldn't stop smiling 😃
