This is a great, relatable tread for all ages!!

Haha! I'm not old enough to know about experiences of 18 year olds but I definitely have moments that this thread reminded me of!!! Haha!!
But first of- thanks Arisai for this thread! It was a great idea! (Btw I know I am like a year late but I only just found this.. :P)

My story is not that funny or cute but I will share it anyway.
So I go to an all girls school and this guy went to the all boys school that was about 5 or so minutes by car away... These schools are known to be 'brother- sister' schools as they do activities together... So that's just background information that's actually irrelevant..
The story started on valentines day.. Basically I was doing a group maths challenge with my school and we went. I saw him from that school (neither of us had seen each other before) and I just found his eyes (which were really very large) captivating... I got a crush on him.. :P but I never told anyone and never knew his name..
Then a few months later. I was walking to school one day and I have this really bad habit of staring into cars.. I looked in and I saw this same guy who I recognised.. I got to school and asked my best friend (Z)who they were since they did CCF with this boys school (I didn't).. She told me..
A time after that I had to carry my tent to school.. And I was walking. It was really very large and I am quite a short person so it must have looked amusing... He passed by in the car and was staring at me, smirking.
Another time I was walking to school.. And basically I was talking to myself because I had an exam and it was my way of revising.. I should explain that I am very gesticulate and so when I talk my hands fly about everywhere... Anyway so his car passed by and he gave me the weirdest look ever. When I got to school I told my best friend (Z) the whole story and told her why

Later that week my best friend (Z) had CCF at his school and coincidentally she was out in the same group as him. My other friend (X)also knew that this guy saw me every day when I walked to school... So she asked him whether he knew me. He said, 'No'. Then X said 'Of course you don't know her name. Sorry. I meant do you know the girl who is short and walks to school every day' He replied 'yes and she walks with her dad doesn't she?'
My best friend (Z) then said 'yes' he then told her 'the last time i saw her (me) she was talking to herself and was acting weird' My best friend (Z) said 'It is because she had an exam and so she was revising but she told me you gave her weird looks'
He then was apologising saying that he was just confused by my behaviour and he kept saying he was really sorry. According to Z he was really upset...

The story isn't much but I can tell you how stupid I was back then... I found out where he lived by mistake and whenever I passed I would look into the house to see if I could see him... Or I would look inside every large black car to see if he was in it... I guess I was obsessed... So I actually understand why khushi had done what she did.. And why everyone else did what they did.

I am sorry. I kinda rambled on for ages... It's not even a proper interesting story. Not sure why I even wrote it.. Sorry.

aww yes i agree i sometimes did find khushi's behavior childish and too unnatural, but hey that was when the show was on air,and we used to get day to day doses(as we always wanted more hehe greedy much),but once it got over, and when i started my re-run of the whole show episode by episode, scene by scene i really could understand their (Arnav-Khushi's) story much better, cause that's the way she (khushi) was and obviously that is what struck the chord with him (arnav) and vice versa, though arnav had all these attractive sophisticated skimpy dressed women around him ,what actually always caught his attention was khushi's innocence and childishness and this cuteness she held in everything unaware of how it effected Arnav - eeeks i love this couple!! so unique!!

sigh damn i miss the show now!! arghhh

loved this post!!

This reminds me of my 6th grade crush. We were at the graduation picnic and we were playing Jerry Springer(if you don't know what that is look it up on youtube), its basically where you tell people what your problem is with them and then you argue about it like uncivilized beings. anyway I didn't want anyone to know that I liked him, and my mouth just took over and I said a lot of bad things. He didn't speak to for the rest of the year. We were actually friends before that.

7th grade- I liked this other guy and we were playing some ball game and I sort of tripped but in process I pushed him from behind, literally I pushed his butt. Yeah that didn't go of well either.

8th grade- that was the worst. He was tall, friendly, smart, nice, the perfect guy ever! We used to talk a lot. So one day the class was playing truth and dare, and if you chose truth they would no if you lied or not by checking your pulse rate. It was my turn and I chose truth. I was asked "do you like Nick?" I snatched my hand away and said OUT LOUD, NO I DONT!! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. Their response: yes you do, you always blush and giggle around him (I HATE MY LIGHT SKIN). I kept shouting No and then turned around and guess who was behind me, NICK. My life flashed in front of me. That was so horrible. I couldn't look him in the eye from then on.

9th-12th grade I had a crush on the same guy. Unfortunately I never spoke to him or went near him. My past experience shows I become a complete blathering idiot in front of my crushes. So James didn't know me at all, but I knew EVERYTHING about him <sigh> my sad love story.

I sooo feel ya! I too had a crush on the same guy 9-12 (in fact, i think I still do a little, and im in 2nd year). i too barely every talked to him. I did a few projects with him, but i think i tried too hard to ignore him and wanted him to notice that i was ignoring him. but i guess it doesn't really work out too well when the person you are ignoring very blatantly never realizes because he never paid enough attention to you in the first place... *sigh* yea...

Bangladeshi. :) And I'm from Lincolnshire. Are you British too? :)

Hahaahaa that's sweet of you to say, but he goes to Uni in London now (he's in the year above me) and I'm going to Cambridge from this October so I doubt anything will come from it. Also he was mostly just a harmless crush. The whole being Muslim = no dating thing kind of gets in the way when it comes to moving things on ;') 😆

Ur from bangladesh?
Me too😳

LOVED ur stories.😆

It does doesn't it. We're all just missing this deserted place that was once thriving with humorous threads, sarcastic analyses, and I-will-leave-the-show threats.
