I have already taken break from this this show. Although the show had many fights/ arguments, ups and downs but there were happy moments in it too, all we see these days is how khushi is mistreated, mislead, misjudged. it's like she doesn't even have a backbone. When the show started, Khushi was shown to be the brave one, the one who could stand up to Arnav, yet it's like she is a shadow lurking behind ASR who shrunk in his fear.

Anyone can be a victor through unscrupulous means. One must remember, victories achieved through means of deceit and lies are short lived. That is why we see villains always winning in films and serials because they stoop to underhand tactics.

2)One may argue that everything is fair in love and war . Is it? Would you continue to trust someone, if you learn later in life that this very same person whom you love dearly has cheated you at one point? The person whom you consider your partner has resorted to unscrupulous methods to prove his point? What's great in winning by hook or by crook? It does not prove anyone smarter or intelligent. Instead, it only goes to prove how weak one is.

I Love your post. I have decided to take a break from this show due to the above reasons you pointed out.I was honestly very disappointed after today's episode. Leave aside the inhumane treatment his trickery and manipulation of a gullible 18 year old did not go well down my books.
No straighforwardness at all. I wish he offered to give her money over this. Atleast he would have been straight forward and honest (not in the best sense but there would have been no lies). He could have offered to take care of her father's medications or something in exchange for staying with him for 6 months.
How will Kushi ever trust him after finding out all of his diceptions?
Anyways Happy women's day to you too!

I used to love the ASR & Khushi arguments and fights at the beginning... it had its funny moments too... they both fought openly and when the other was hurt they did apologise... one could sense the attraction between the two leads... above all Khushi was free to go home to her family...

Now, she has been deprived of love and has also lost her freedom... she is unable to step out of the house... she is almost held captive... to top it, she is in a forced marriage ... she is continuously being blackmailed and the man in question is not willing to give her the reason... talk about fair play

This came to my mind when I watched the show, i agree with your assertion that ASR is not playing fair, to me when you throw a challenge fight fairly...what he did was through lies and cheating and that was unfair. Now many may say all is fair in love and war...but again here both parties know either they are in love or at war...not like this where khushi has no clue why he is behaving that way...
What i realised was that this man is not so price catch after all. I love barun and his acting i am talking about the cariature of a character his has become on this show now. He is reduced to petty threats and viciousness which is not becoming him at all. Khushi was going back we knew that given the holi promo and all but the way they are sending her back home is just ridiculous. CV's are sadistic people or someone who just want to make money and dont realise that society has evolved from ekta's soaps where all was okay in the name of love..
I hope they change this story line and perhaps misunderstand gets sorted a bit...i despise this new story line dont like it at all...but all in all a lovely post

This is the first time I am hearing this quote. Nice one. Thank you.

I agree that the Gupta's and Khushi were wrong when they did not reveal the truth about Shyam to the Raizadas... but Shyam is such a devious character, he could have twisted the story in such a way to manipulate the Raizadas... In fact, today we could see the results of his manipulation... even the smart ASR has failed prey to his manipulations..

Both ASR & Khushi have hidden the truth about Shyam, which makes them both on equal footing... there was no necessity for deceit, lies and blackmailing.

If the CVs wanted us to hate ASR since this is a hate track ... it worked...there's nothing I abhor more than liars, cheats and bullies ... today he personified all three ...

I see very little difference in Shyam and ASR's character besides lust ... both are underhanded and delusioned with their one single goal ... and neither pick on ppl their own size ... why or why are they not pitted against each other instead of milling poor KKG

Of course, they completely missed the point that its about entertainment and nothing they show currently is very entertaining. Sad.

I must agree my experience with serials are limited... so it may be my naivety to expect logic from a serial...

I feel cheated because all along we read this serial to be different from the rest... it started out so well... I would rather prefer to see a serial that's entertaining and logical than one which is prolonged unnecessarily... It's quality what the audience wants and not quantity...

Hi Lady!

Wonderful post!

I skipped the episode today..mainly because after reading the updates I realized that I did not want to see a distraught and despaired Khushi all over again..which is exactly how they have shown her time and again, due to the ruthless ASR.

What irks me the most is that he indeed has kept her his captive, refusing to give her a chance to speak out in her defense...he saw something, jumped to conclusions and did not even bother to ask her side of the story.
He declared her guilty and punished her!

Earlier they would show him regretting, or at least showing guilt on his face after putting her through troubles...but lately, all I see is revenge, vengeance, anger in his eyes.

His conflicting emotions have disappeared...her pain, her discomfort no longer seem to bother him.

Its all about him being in control and him being right.

LA LA liked your post...👏 he got only tiny bit of conscience and it will showup later when he realize his mistake not trusting kkg all these time..he regretted only twice...when he thought her sympathy was false when she said sorry about his parent and about payal's first marriage...why can't he ask her directly about her involvement with that snake...😲 then she will tell everything...but if he keeps on torturing her even when the time comes she will not say anything about shyam... because she will be hurt so much her attitude will be that "you didn't trust me in the first place why should i tell you now findout yourself"...we can't blame her ..😲

Earlier i used to find him mean... but now he is out right cruel. And thats what i cannot accept. He doesnt care for Khushi's tears anymore.

Today a friend of mine had posted this line in FB,
He who takes care of his wife like a princess is sure raised by a queen.
Wonder what that says about late Mrs Raizada Senior.

I hope CVs will be able to salvage the rest of the serial... after hitting a low point today, I do not know if the Holi scene will seem any romantic to me... at least the last few episodes have left a bad taste in the mouth...
