This is a very debatable topic, i am guessing people have written so much for and against the marriage track that i can't befriend either.

the pros and cons weigh equal

i just wanted to add something - you said that khushi could've backed out and given a straight on "no" to arnav for the contract marriage he threw on her face and stood her grounds.

here - Khushi who's merely 18-19 years of age has been told that you'll be held responsible once again for breaking your sister's marriage - she gets caught in the moment and realizes that because of her adamant nature for refusing the dowry demand previously, her sister's marriage had been called off.

This was a huge blow for her and she didn't want anything to come in between her sisters wedding so she takes a back seat and accepts it.

Also from a practical point of view - the CVs had to get them to be in the same frame for a longer period of time, she couldn't just be a girl who would keep coming to RM to visit her sister so they had to introduce a marriage although with a time limit to hold their grip.

This said they had to keep thier parallel leads intact as well - anjali and shyam.

Also live upto thier tagline of nafrat paas aane na de, mohabbat door jaane na de.

but bituwa love is nt a verb to have present,past ,future...

Dat said, I did not like the way the hate s being shown , I know dis much of intensity s required but I want his hate 2 b shown in a classy way ...not like any other Wooden planks who ask his wife 2 sleep on the ground...This s even worse here...

I think in a way it is like .I can hit my child but I feel like killing the other person if someone hits my child...to put in perspective..He is ok with him mistreating her ...but is insanely out of his mind if someone case in point ..those thugs or Shyam..and so yes the marriage track..it could have been I pay you ..and get out of my life or something but then Shyam would have gone after her ..so marriage I think is certainly because of that tug but I think he was thinking like a business man when he married..but yes he certainly can't deny his attracton for her..

@ making her sleep outside...🤣..you know he did worse things...but yeah I know where you are coming from..But all said and done..as I said to Priya.he is so much an anti hero..

we needed this kind of posts ZAINAB...I have decided that there is no point in getting angry with asr...❓ I love equally asr and kkg because of that its kkg's turn to get my support ...basically asr is a ruthless person when he makes deals... but his love for her makes him feels guilty and sad... he knows that she has no other choice but to accept his condition...in any competition i always support underdog... even though its not a competition i'm still with kkg and may be tomorrow its asr's turn to get my sympathy...who knows ..😆nice post ZAINAB..👏

First of all, a very sensible post 👏

And loved the seriousness of it...for the 'current' situation in IPK is serious...

Yes...ASR has been portrayed as a ruthless calculative businessman and when he proposed this marriage to Khushi, the very same businessman did it...

But what caused many of us fans to give a knee jerk reaction towards his behavior was the fact that we were given a dose of all the good things he could be...caring, compassionate, kind, gentle - all of this towards Khushi...so when the carpet was pulled away from under her feet and also ours (us fans who fell in love with this romantic Arhi), we were bound to complain, and I think we have the right to do that.

As for Khushi...logically speaking, yes...she could have refused to give in to his marriage proposal...but from where she stood, it meant causing her sister's marrage to break up once again...and this was not something she would ever let happen, no matter what the situation demanded. So without putting much thought into it, she let her heart make this decision for her and agreed to the marriage.

I don't think ASR was thinking at all either! He too took this decision without thinking logically...I do not think marriage was necessary here...he could have blackmailed KKG to go away for ever from their lives, using the same reasoning...but he did not...for he loves this very woman and his decision got heavily influenced by that very factor.

What he did to her earlier in the office track and what he is doing now in the marriage track are similar, but his emotions behind them are completly different...he loves her now and so it is difficult for us to swallow his vengeful actions.

Zain, I have discussed this in so many posts, I am drained out of words for now...

All I will day now is all of us are waiting with baited breath to see how things progress from here on.

Since they showed Khushi coming to know something she did has deeply hurt him, the story is bound to move in a different direction henceforth...a positive one in which Khushi will,work towards solving this huge mess...and I am hoping they show Arnav too getting a hint that there is more to what meets the eye...there is something amiss.

Optimistic about the future episodes...

Ahahahahh @ a sensible post..welll the thing is ..we as fans ofcourse have a right to complain ..not denying that right..and this is a platform to discuss..what irks me ..and it does get my LAxmi..is when people go to extremes..constructive criticism is fine but where it goes to single minded rip roaring biased ranting..it gets me ..again I agree what may be for me ..amy not be for you..

Baqi ..I seriously think ..ASR was the one who thought of marrying not ARNAV...yes he could have told her to go away but then how would have it worked out..Khushi is not alone ..she is with her family ..so I think that track would have not so viable esp with shyam on the loose..I think if the pregnancy had not happened..then he would have been fine with Shyam and Khushi going off..

As far as what happens next..Khushi's surprise that he has been hurt ..was siginficant..for some reason when this forced farce happened..she did not even think that SHE could have brought this about ..She is soo used to his unreasonable and unfathomable actions that for her it was a given..

and as far as the future ..keeping my fingers corssed esp with the oncoming holie episodes..Bhaang was never this good

Achcha vaise, I agree with all except the marital rape and Khushi's choices. The former because I don't want to think of ODB in such a negative light...I mean even he has to draw the line somewhere...at least I think he has to...😕

About Khushi being a caricature of her real self in the marriage episodes...I think she was being exactly what she always was...you have to think of the decision she made to play along with Arnav's proposition, in the light of her past experience. She has already been blamed once for her Jiji's broken marriage...for the baraat having left without the dulhan in Lucknow...that is where it all started. That was a nightmare she was not willing to repeat...the emotional scars from that first incident are enough to fundamentally alter her decision-making process forever. That is the main reason she has not told the Raizadas and Arnav about Shyam's asliyat. Arnav had used the most powerful weapon he has against Khushi, when he threatened to derail Payal Akash wedding. Khushi finds herself defenceless against that ...she will move heaven and earth to prevent anything happening to Payal's married life.

Fantastic response...and I titally concur with what you have written. Khushi agreed to the marriage only for her sister...she can go to any lengths to protect her sister's happiness just like ASR...who has claimed many times he can do anything for his sister.

They both did what they thought was right at that moment...

What a way to start Sunday morning on the forum. Maaza aa gaya. Very well put.

And my 2 favorite characters being discussed, The dark knight and Snape.

What? alright alright ASR and and Khushi too.

I am attracted to ASR more than Arnav, as complicated as they can get. Khushi is so what you see is what you get, perfect foil for each other. The best part of this show for me is how these 2 have their own special space that is theirs and theirs alone, besides being surrounded by all the family folks, and the CVs have decided to continue that magic part by extending it to the forced marriage. I agree, I wish they had done it better. They spent lots of time getting close to each other without anyone realizing, now when they are next to each they will spend a lot struggling with each other, again everyone else will be oblvlious to it. There is a certain magic in having a secret, doesn't matter if its love or hate. And that always works.

Dark knight and Snape always had secrets and that mysteriousness is what pulls us to them. They are both the best wriiten characters in fiction. And they are more human than all super heros out there.

As for redemption, I said this somewhere else too, I don't believe in redemption in love, its just love, don't call it redemption. lets not sully that love, I will hope that ASR will not redeem himself but just be who he is and , just express the love he has. Changing for love is different from redeeming. I see the these 2 feelings as very seperate things.

well arnav and khushi had to get married...CV's have been giving us lot of hints...the first big hint was the dupatta fall on khushi head which said no one can stop them from getting married...and many did predict that payal and akash marriage...arnav and khushi is going to get married...we all knew it since the marriage of akash and payal got fixed...and arnav and khushi engagement broke...so

marriage was the only option...and CV's had only this in their mind...if the arnav had seen khushi and shyam had he did nothing and get angry and then how will khushi and arnav meet in RM all the time...she has to b married to him so he hates her...then only the tagline nafrat paas ane na de and muhobbat door jaane na de...

it was quiet predictable that they both will end up in marriage on payal and akash marriage day...
