How many of us feel that getting married was necessary...that it was the only way out... The current situation is a mockery of the institution of marriage..but was it necessary??

It started off on a wrong note to begin with..a note of mistrust..misunderstanding..coercion with black mail and a means to an end. ..So much in character with the businessman cutting a deal ..but done in the heat of moment of blind rage..that simmered down to a cold blooded decision resorting to any lengths to get the desired objective..

We as the viewers had been given adequate warnings..that Arnav will go to any lengths..that he is ruthless and relentless to safeguard the happiness of the only person in his life he loves..So why are we soo suprised at the current handling ..at his callousness..at his brutality and mercilessness at the treatment of Khushi...at the way he has been in charge of it all..He has in fact been quite unlike the cruel man who has been pushing off Khushi Kumari gupta from his office window..making her stand in the rain..you name it ..he has done it all..Infact I think currently nothing short of marital rape would have been enough in keeping with his character...Although I do think the poolside sleeping arrangements are uncalled for but then he has always left her to the mercy of the elements..to the rain..to the darkness of the night..to the strange surroundings..to the jungle ..He has never shirked from putting her at risk..but then he has in the end turned out to be her knight too...a dark knight never the less..

Presently We hate ASR and his guts..We hate the fact that he has made Khushi a caricature of her past self..We hate him for all his barbs..We hate him for her tears..But then he has always been an all or none ...give it all or give it nothing..Yet he has changed...He is no longer the immune impervious man who thought she was a woman of low aukad..He felt for her when Buaji left her ..He felt when she cried..He felt when he threw her out to the pool..Yet it does not mitigate what he has done..it doesnot condone his treatment..but then a spade is a spade not anything less or more..

I think Khushi though had been made a caricature but is on the way to redemption of her former feisty self...call it the whim of the CV's ..the TRP demands..the way the wind blows currently is not in her favour ..Granted she has started to question him..but then she has also been equally at fault ...to be a part y to this sham called a marriage..Where was her inner persistent sense to delve to the bottom of things when he emotionally black mailed her into getting married..She did not have to do it...She could have backed off..The result ..no marriage of her sister for WHICH she could have not been blamed...Who would have taken her to task for running and eloping to get married with ASR..If she had stood her ground and yes demended back the reason for ASR taking a 360 turn ..then we would have been spared this I hate ASR...spiel today..Khushi Kumari Gupta has been a woman of substance at least ..that is what the CV's have projected her to be..the one who could launch a mithai business to fall asunder and give up totally..Where was her fighting spirit then ??

So now if the marriage had not happened..what would have been the fall out..the declaration of FARAK from ASR..the acceptance on Khushi's part..Shyam would have had to accept his fate and the show would have ended..I cannot see how they could have turned it around any other way..although then the situation would still be marriage but a happily married one..so I believe we still have a lot to look forward to and to forgive the idiosyncrasies of the CV's and have faith in the show..

The reason is ARHI make it a treat to watch..to be the two halves of a whole ..and they truly are meant for each other..

Here is my 2 cents.

So, I agree that the one thing that has pleased about the current track is that the CVs have stayed faithful to ASR's character from the beginning. Man was always, well shall we say, more than a little flawed. He's pretty much a jerk. And being hot, doesn't change that. So, for me , none of his actions seems surprising. It's pretty much in keeping with his general persona.

What has annoyed me is the excessive drama they've incorporated over the last few weeks. But then again, paapi pait and all that. That shit is apparently gold. (Though I personally believe you can't polish a turd, pardon my grammar.)

Will Khushi get back in the game? I sure as hell hope so. Will he grovel at her feet like a dog? I sure as hell hope so. Will she reject him and walk out with her head held high? I sure as hell hope so. (but I know that won't happen. Same reason. Shit. Gold.)

Does it make for interesting watching? If you subtract all the nonsense, which is pretty much 80% of the last 2 weeks. Absolutely. Yes. This show works because the leads have crackling chemistry and are (Sanaya more than Barun..don't kill me BS lovers!) good actors.

At last, someone with whom I tottaly agree with! I feel people need to cut ASR some slack at the moment. We should back to his past, he has done a LOT of bad things to Khushi, on the same level as what he is doing to her now. But we can also see how her love has change him. Although he may not show it on the outside or even admit it to himself, he still cares and loves Khushi. I think the CV's have kept the story going with this marriage. It's probably going to be another few months before the whole truth is revealed, then a lot of grovelling form ASR asking for redemption (maybe? maybe not?). The whole concept of IPKKND is the love-hate relationship that ArHi have, and atm their going through a hate phase! I actually don't want it to be over so soon. I think the anger, fustration and tension adds greatly to the programme. It's making things quite hot between the two 😉 But yeah, as concerns to all the ASR hate going on atm, me no likey 😔

If we look at the entire story right from the beginning to the present point, a few things stand out.

We have been given a clear picture of the main characters.

We know the other characters, and what they are capable of.

All extraneous elements have been distanced from the lives of the leads, leaving them to concentrate on one another. La is out of the picture. Shyam's true nature is known by the leads. Both Arnav & Khushi are being isolated by both families.

ArHi have to live beneath one roof, in one room. They have to contain their problems to themselves & their room. They have no other choice for 6 months.

Regardless of how Arnav acts & Khushi reacts now, things can only get better between them. There is no story otherwise. Moreover there is a villain waiting for them to do something about him. In this process, they will learn more about themselves & each other.

..Hey ..Jpatel ..firstly this was not to exonerate ASR and his actions or misdeeds or whatever..this was more to kinda find and define a reason why I am still with the show..and the reason is ARHI..It is about the love which can't bring them closer and hate which can't drive them away..so I guess..in keeping with that theme ..this track or the hate phase is something which has been from the start been rocky..granted..it is ASR now..but the fact remains..the man is changed..and it is KKG who changed him..at the heart of it ..really if he hurts her..he hurts himself..I think they will bring back the redemption..and grovelling..hmm not sure about that..

ASR might hav tried diff ways 2 drive her out of his Di's life but he chose 2 marry her...some feel it s like Keeping enemies closer,but I want 2 believe dat he did it cos he loves her...he might not believe in sanctity of marriage, but he knows dat she believes it...

And if v luk back whenever he felt the tug towards her , he had been cruel wid her starting from fotoshoot which followed by all nighter to Diwali Kissmiss dat eventually resulted in coup de grace for her , it had been his character, the one who wants 2 control every situation, who turns vehement when he loses it to others(farak padta hai)...

So yes! now he loved her , he has been cheated, she does not belong him...but still he feels the tug... Hell hath no fury like ASR scorned...(Anu made a post on this, I know dat u know 😛)...no better way 2 control the situation than marrying her...

but bituwa love is nt a verb to have present,past ,future...

Dat said, I did not like the way the hate s being shown , I know dis much of intensity s required but I want his hate 2 b shown in a classy way ...not like any other Wooden planks who ask his wife 2 sleep on the ground...This s even worse here...

First of all, a very sensible post 👏

And loved the seriousness of it...for the 'current' situation in IPK is serious...

Yes...ASR has been portrayed as a ruthless calculative businessman and when he proposed this marriage to Khushi, the very same businessman did it...

But what caused many of us fans to give a knee jerk reaction towards his behavior was the fact that we were given a dose of all the good things he could be...caring, compassionate, kind, gentle - all of this towards Khushi...so when the carpet was pulled away from under her feet and also ours (us fans who fell in love with this romantic Arhi), we were bound to complain, and I think we have the right to do that.

As for Khushi...logically speaking, yes...she could have refused to give in to his marriage proposal...but from where she stood, it meant causing her sister's marrage to break up once again...and this was not something she would ever let happen, no matter what the situation demanded. So without putting much thought into it, she let her heart make this decision for her and agreed to the marriage.

I don't think ASR was thinking at all either! He too took this decision without thinking logically...I do not think marriage was necessary here...he could have blackmailed KKG to go away for ever from their lives, using the same reasoning...but he did not...for he loves this very woman and his decision got heavily influenced by that very factor.

What he did to her earlier in the office track and what he is doing now in the marriage track are similar, but his emotions behind them are completly different...he loves her now and so it is difficult for us to swallow his vengeful actions.

Zain, I have discussed this in so many posts, I am drained out of words for now...

All I will day now is all of us are waiting with baited breath to see how things progress from here on.

Since they showed Khushi coming to know something she did has deeply hurt him, the story is bound to move in a different direction henceforth...a positive one in which Khushi will,work towards solving this huge mess...and I am hoping they show Arnav too getting a hint that there is more to what meets the eye...there is something amiss.

Optimistic about the future episodes...
