darn I really do need to get a life but cannot stop myself from jumping in again..I am really not agreeing with anyone here just summarising what I see ...

1) Sanjana I read from your comments that those who are screaming domestic violence, violence against women had called early episodes when ASR was in full steam as romantic. I am sure, reading the posts from these intelligent folks, they must have found those actions (Nainital outdoor stint, rain parking incident and the infamous dropping from 1st floor office) repulsive too. I cannot see them thinking that these actions are either romantic or kind. I am obviously not including others who clearly don't use logic in their conversations and are completely biased.

2) Sorry Anna and Naila, I do understand your pov but I have to say this is domestic violence - its domestic because its inside the house and violence because its bl.. y Delhi winter and you are throwing someone out of the room into the exterior. she could have developed pneumonia. That is v simply put domestic violence. I have to agree with Darcy fan on this one, except that I dont hate ASR or feel upset with Barun (will mention why in the bottom)

3) ASR is back, and how. He is being who he is - the character was in abeyance and now when he thinks the girl he loved is not only a mirage but also a traitor and a s...t, deserves everything she gets. Hence he behaves the way he behaves with the big bad cruel world - he is ruthless, cruel, mean and cold.. all par for the course. As Anna, Naila and Aliza have said so well in that other post, this is the right picture for ASR - true to the original story. You may not like this character, you may dislike the action, but you cannot deny that he is who is. he has not suddenly become this mellow guy .. who will be fair and just. thats not ASR.. and the process for Darcification (to borrow the phrase) is on.. it is on because unlike earlier, ASR is uncomfortable wtih his actions. he is no longer blase or triumphant but unhappy.

4) for us as viewers that still does not make the action ok, it makes the story and the character true though. and a gutsy one it is...

ASR loving Khushi and wanting her does NOT make it ok.. in fact, nothing can make the action justifiable. however, it should make the action understandable.. understanding where he is coming from makes it clearer as to why he is doing what he is.. and the tajectory of his journey which began when he first said sorry... or perhpas even earlier.. Again Anna is right (god heavens, I feel like Anna is a dictionary, I have quoted her so many times!), the fact that he is feeling bad is in itself a testimony to his journey

Most of us including I (not you Darcyfan and a few smarter others) forgot that we are watching Khushi as the innocent. ASR is not.. he is watching her as a jezebel and if she had been a jezebel, it would still not be ok.. but it would make his actions more easily understood. that is why he is not asking her anything - why would he? she re-inforces everyhting he has always believed and been proven about the world - that goodness does not exist and profit and loss is the only real truth, that people lie and cheat all the time (goodness what a awful set of friends he seems to have!)

5) If he had been a character sketch and not our darling lead, we would have understood that he is portraying a flawed character and bore the scenes knowing he will get his come uppance. this is not a normal (dare I say it? perhaps I speak too soon) Indian serial - the lead is not our hero. he is an anti hero hence he is doing things that are abhorrent and not only does he push envelope he darn well tears it... and it is upto our chamkeeli and a whole lot of inbuilt love (perhaps also butt - sorry I simply could not resist that one, scratch that out) to teach him to be a hero.. he has the makings of one, just not ready yet...

whew.. you gals are going to kill me one of these days. have not been so passionate since I was getting courted by hubby dearest!!

Khushi has her work cut out for her to convince that she loves him only. It's high time they show Khushi doing something for him for a change. She has to accept his bad side as well, then it will be real love from her side. That is if she love him, right now I am not convinced from her side.

i know.. they need to show some feelings from the side of khushi also.. i don't why people keep saying that arnav needs to repent her, love her and hate her? 😆

i think khushi has developed some feelings and should show them too.. they never focussed on her side of the story

another interesting point i read was : khushi is 18 yrs old only.. ans so she does not what is love and she thinks it is acidity 😕.. i am 18 too and i definitly will not think that my heart going dhak dhak is becoz i have acidity.. but thats the way khushi is.. childish and innocent about love, so i am not blaming her.. but the writers need to write it better..

and so they think arnav knows what is love? i think not more than khushi.. if he knew he wudn't say he luvd lavania.. he equally does not know what is love and thats what makes it more interesting to watch..

and he is the same guy who took just just a minute and a cheater's words to decide that the same girl he respected? loved? was having an affair behind everyone's back, with a married man of all things

Very well said and expressed, I did not forget any of those moments and hope to see everyone else looking them and stop bashing Arnav! He is still same.

@Bold : Yess! If she only loves the goody side of him only then its not love from her side at all. She needs to love his bad side also. And more than that she needs to understand ASR which I am surprised she hasnt til now! 😕 As audience -- I think ASR has shown all his different personality traits in front of khushi -- she needs to figure him out to love him endlessly! 😳
