To everyone who feels ASR is justified in his behavior, put our own mom in that position for a minute (sorry, i know its getting a bit personal but bear with me), and imagine our dad doing this to her and later he regrets only to repeat it. would be sit and simply watch and tell our mom that he is so passionate and just occasionally looses his temper? Or erase mom, and put sister or erase sister and put your best friend or erase best friend, put yourself in that situation.

someone in another thread is saying women like to be pampered and swept off our feet, therefore, we can't digest this ASR. Whoa!!! I'd rather be without a man, than have a man abuse me and regret later. I don't need pampering or be swept off my feet - which medieval century do such those thoughts come from?????

OMG Hahahahaha What awesome spirit!! Someone send over a medal of valor to the woman who willingly tolerates brutality to prove she's tough. 👏 But, I'd much rather take my medal for not just putting up, but also putting out after I've nursed my man back to health from the flu (which if some of you haven't experienced with a man, makes sitting out in the cold resemble a freaking Disney vacation.)

Meh!

Do they only read those posts?? What about the ones like this one...many on the forum speak very strongly when ASR is wrong and a lot of topics are made on how wrong he is. Don't they read those? Or do they not like those?? Many of the women here are married too.
I mean both views are presented in the forum pro-ASR and against ASR. They have an option to choose between right and wrong. I have 14 year old niece. She watches it on and off. I aksed her about ASR and his behaviour. She said she does not think about it once the episode is done. It's a relief!
I think the ASR supporting fans justify ASR's wrong doings more than the show does itself. They are saying they are trying to show ASR is very very wrong so he will repent more. May be that's not the right way to do it by going to this extreme. I don't know why should anyone say ASR is doing it for love when the writers saying he is only hurting her.
I am not very good at expressing opinion. All I am trying to say for the members in the forum both young and old, both views are presented here. Why not read both and decide which one is right. I can't help saying ASR's good looks may be making it difficult for them and the young one's are too young and their judgement might be clouded by that.
like many said they would have supported the action if the lead was someone not so good looking. Hopefully they young girls will go back to reality once this show is done. It is not good enough show to leave a life long impact. I am hoping for it cause I have no way to get to the CVs or the ones who support ASR blindly.

Misclog - 👏😲

To the people who feel hurt because ASR is hurting from within putting Khushi out there to freeze - How many of you have actually thought, even for a minute, how would you feel if you were in your bridal wear with all the chunky jewelry and your husband tells you that it is disgusting that i have to breathe in the same air as you and drags you out of the room and throws you out in the cold (it's by the pool side so mind you it's even colder, go back to the 6th grade notebooks and cross check for all i care)
and to top it all throws a blanket at your face.. SERIOUSLY HOW MANY OF YOU DID THAT?

I am so sorry for repeating something like this - but i still remember when i was watching the episode on friday i had such a wierd emotional turmoil. 15 minutes and i shut it.
1.The harsh words , ok i get it you are misunderstanding her,

2.not replying to her question as in why are you putting them through this torture, ok please just give her the truth even if it's your own pre-baked version.

3. dragging her pushing her out - i was like ok i see what you're doing, 5 minutes more and you'll just pull her back in and probably say something hurtful again but hah ur not leaving her there for sure.

4. going through that rage of tearing apart everything. damn it :( ok let it out

5. Picking up the blanket and contemplating. here i was spaced out waiting for his next move

6. Throwing it at her. what the hell did you just do?

7. Waiting for her to actually pull the blanket and use it. i was like what NOOO, come on man i know your going to get her in now. Do it already.

8. The freaking sunrise, I BET SHE'S ON THE BED HE MUST'VE GOTTEN HER INSIDE AS SOON AS SHE FELL ASLEEP. BUT UTTER SHOCK DISMAY AND A BIG LET DOWN.

after that my thoughts just narrowed down to being as braindead as i could ever be.

PS: I THINK THIS IS THE FASTEST MY MIND HAS EVER WORKED ON EMOTIONS.

I know what domestic violence is but have never gone into the depth of it as I have never experienced it, I'm still quite young, 17 to be precise. But reading all these posts here has really improved my knowledge about domestic violence. I for one never knew that emotional abuse is also counted as domestic violence and to be honest I didn't think some of the stuff that arnav did with khushi before actually counted as domestic violence. But as I said reading these posts by people MUCH more experienced than me has actually opened up my eyes. So, i just want to thank all the people here for unknowingly helping me and I'm sure such information is vital for all females, especially girls of my age.
A big thank you to all. 🤗

Oh my gosh!!!! finally a post which appreciates what I am trying to say...honestly some posts says things where i feel like saying...are you for real???
As someone wrote I would rather be without a man than be with a man who mistreats me and then repents and repeats the cycle...no thanks...i rather be single and happy...
I really dont understand where do they the romance in there???i mean how can anyone who is reasonable sane wants to be treated this way????one person told me that every action has equal and opposite reaction and so thats what is happening here...hmmm by one person who keeps dishing out the reaction without even investigating the actions?????you know i rather make a post here where my views are appreciated rather than educating blind minds...God forbid they never have to go through anything themselves but i guess even if they do they wont get it...and if they do then I hope they know where to go and who to ask help from...

sameera, if i could reach into the screen and hug you, I would.

What ASR did in the early days of the show also qualified as abuse, but khushi was not his wife then and she could retaliate or stay away from him. but the situation has gotten worse. she is married to him, and coerced into this relationship by him. The equation is even more precarious and damaging.

I hope you will read the post earlier on Domestic violence link, it has some good pointers for signs of abuse.

PRETTY YOUNG LADIES - even if you aren't aware of domestic violence and are yet naive to understand what a marriage is, girls abuse is a very sensitive issue don't even try justifying it.
PERSONAL EXAMPLE - IT CAN BE AS SMALL AN INCIDENT AS THIS - I was entering the lift, when there was a man standing at the door, a normal reaction would be to step back and let me come in. But no he stepped aside only to give me so much place that even if i had to get in i had to brush past him. This is the tiniest possible example of abuse of the fairer sex. ALL I DID WAS tell him " excuse me sir please could you move back i would like to come in. Thought it was common sense but he had to be reminded about it.

NOW BLOW IT UP TO 1000 TIMES and that is what ASR's action was portrayed as on FRIDAY.
