You may be right... At this point, ASR does not care a diddly squat about KKG ... all he is after is a safe haven for his Di... Many have pointed out that this was the result of his love and possessiveness towards her... I highly doubt it... We may be proved wrong if the PH intends to show this (ASR intentionally protecting Khushi) the most touted twist..

He is a human being..not a saint! He feels he's been betrayed by Khushi...and his sister's happiness is in peril...so why on earth would he 'protect' that very woman due to whom his world has been shaken up?!

And like I said before..its the same night still...the night of his supposed betrayal...how can he even think straight and remember that he loves this woman?

His world is his Di...and he did what he did for her.

Why in the world would he think she needs protection? He doesn't know Shyam is a psychopath doing all sorts of bad things...

I am confused by another thing...he told Shyam he's giving him another chance...but told Khushi its a six month marriage...shouldn't it have been a regular marriage?

So if they were really having an affair, they can reunite in six months as well!

How can he be sure things will become okay in six months.

To me it seems he just cannot think straight...he hasn't thought through his plan at all..he did what he did impulsively, thinking about his sister's happiness first.

No way is he thinking about anyone else but HIS hurt , HIS betrayal and HIS revenge. He is hit with pangs of remorse but is he doing it to protect Khushi ? Not at all. if there was any doubt then check out the face between the BILs today where Khushi was nothing but a "possesion" to be had by the men. I dont think we have any reason to rejoice yet ...

True as arnav is too worried and angry for his sister as of yet he is looking out for her initially! But along with this khushi has the advantage as things could hav gone worse if shyam continued the way he was, so now arnav's cut it there making shyam and apparently khushi pay on his terms. In all this, i feel that as arnav also felt something for khushi he could not see her betraying him that too with his Di's husband so did what he did ie. marriage! He hasn't bothered to confront khushi which is maybe also becoz he fears that she may tell him something about shyam that shocks and confuses him or makes him more guilty, and it's not what he needs right now so he's avoiding it.

I can't agree with u!! he could have sent her away to Lucknow and warned her to never show her face again but he didn't!! he wanted to keep her close to him because he is possessive about her. His main motive might not be protecting khushi but he is damn possessive.

And if Lavanya had been in khushi's place he would've never ever married lavanya!! But he married khushi because he still loves her eventhough he is convinced that she had an affair with shyam!!
