To me .. He is playing his cards very close.. He told Khushi it's 6 months and to Shyam another chance.

He is not hoping Shyam would reform and nor does he think things will work out. He is just buying time till Anjali delivers her baby.

There after - if Shyam has mended his ways - ASR can still let him stay on with Anjali and the kid. But definitely Khushi is to be thrown out in 6 months - whether or not Shyam reforms.

Basically, he is saying that - I don't care if Shyam reforms or if he gets together with Khushi post 6 months so long as my sister is safe with her baby. Not that he would let them live in peace...

He's not letting Shyam feel that after 6 months Khushi will be available so that Shyam can know that Khushi is ASR's wife for good so Shyam better fix his ways.

But towards Khushi - he is aiming his worst...

You're right, but ASR is very territorial. So yes, somewhere this is all about his ego, but at the back of his head, its this same ego that made him marry her because he wanted to be around her. He could've sent her away, done so much more, he chose to marry her and keep her right in front of Shyam. Its all about his territory, so he is protecting her, just in his twisted way lol!

I was trying to find the right words to convey what I felt, and you did it for me.

His ego took a major hit. The woman he loved betrayed him.

Logically speaking he did not marry her to protect her at all, but I just cant say that 100% after watching today episode. The way he told Shyam to back off...possessive certainly, but protective as well. I was a bit taken back too since I though it was all about his di. Arnav could have used different words while talking to Shyam. He could have said now you and Khushi have to end your affair, or something else. My english classes have taught me over and over again that word choice is very important. And Arnav's word choice and body language was such that is seemed possessive yet very protective at the same time. He just told this man to back the bloody hell off his wife.

ya looks like an intense discussion is going on im having fung fun reading the posts.. at present he is too clouded to think anything .. he jsut wants an instant solution to this problem ..he got an oppurtunity payals marraige nd used it to blackmail her nd got married nd hit her where it hurts the most .. he has buried his love nd for the love to come back kushi has to put a lot of effort to bring him back .. he used kushi as a bait to suit the circumstances..nd did not even allow her to speak he married her in a way which was really heinous nd hurt her ..made her loose her family, raizada family ka support nd all that for only 6 months .. his reaction when kushi was telling him about being an orphan nd the way he was reacting it seemed to be empathetic coz both of them have lost their parents... what will arnav say to her .. i am thinking you are having an affair with my BIL to protect my di nd save her marraige i destroyed your life .. he doesnt have answers to her qs simple as that as such she is devastated nd if he says she will be shatttered nd again the emotion is hate .. nd after she speaks he says something like why are you acting as though you are really angry.. he wont say anything she wont say anything both of them have to find it out themselves ..nd asr-shyam .he hurt shyam again where it hurts him the most kushi coz shyam only says RS is between him nd kushi .so now asr broke that equation .. whatever it is circumstances were to be blamed..
