Why do I feel that I have irked you with my post?😭 I honestly [ with DM ki kasam and everything ] love reading your posts. I have tried to make people, completely unrelated to this show, read it simply because of your writing skills.

As to the edge, I think sometimes we try to be like our CVs, We know what sells and we try hard to keep to that even though at the moment our inner self is not in agreement with it. In such times, we lose connection with the spontaneity, sense of black humour, bites of satire that actually define us because we ourselves want to suppress it because that is not what popular demand wants. It is then, your readers/audience cannot recognize you as the same person.

My suggestion - write what you feel instead of what we want to hear. you don't always have to be funny.

All said and done, I am the person, whose posts no one reads or likes or comments on anyways.

So, it would be lame for me to give any pointers.

But, maybe this whole fight of your inner self wanting to write funny stuff but getting interrupted by Ms. Logic constantly until Mr. Romance comes and takes over and sweeps Ms. Logic off the feet would give it better 'edge'.

I think I will be barred from reading any of your posts after this philosophical rant.😔

btw: your posting it on "lamp and wick" forum with the line

"Lamp or Wick, Fist or Kick?" in it !! 😲 took the cake, completely!!

@ smriti ...laughed my guts out ...I mean seriously the wick of this show is so dangerously tiny now ...and the CVs have acted like somthing rhyming 😉..and the channel is back to its own trick ...and i need now a stiff drink ...
