Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is now at a place where there are so many layers to the story and the emotions.
But central to this story has always been the two leads and how their lives are intricately woven.
While so far, the journey has been Arnav's. His dark world found some semblance of brightness from Khushi. And just when he thought his life had been brightened forever, the light was extinguished...taking with it everything positive that he had found so far.
The journey from here has to be Khushi's. Her world has been bright and cheerful and she managed to spread that positivity to even the most negative characters around her. But the real world is just as dark as it can be white. Her reaction to Anjali's pregnancy today showed exactly how far removed from darkness and evil she has been so far.
And who better than Arnav to help her realize that love and hate are as real as two of them.
At the end of this journey, Khushi and Arnav will probably realize that clouds and the sun are partners for life. One will always need the other to allow balance in the universe.
The journey will be intense, painful but doesn't a phoenix have to burn to ashes before it can regain is colourful plumage?
