A wholesome episode is what comes to mind after watching today's episode ...
Dr.Jekyll & Mr.Hyde ...
We finally got what we were yearning for..SELF REFLECTION of the leads !!...The Raizada Members have retired for the night, to rest in the warm lap of Hypnos .. But there is one restless soul pacing the room his mind throwing up flashes of events, his memory choosing this moment to unfurl and wave the flags of stored Past events ...The Memory begin to play back the most recent event , The Great Arnav Singh Raizada running frantically behind fast moving Ambulance, His heart leaping to his throat as he helplessly yells out ' Khushiii"...His memory guides him to the next significant moment when Khushi asks him What difference does IT make...ASR gulps..for he is slowly becoming aware of the difference but still not ready to face the truth, he moves back away from the memory, from the clues it is throwing up, from the conclusions that can be reached ..Arnav comes against the lounger and sits back on that, unable to bear the weight of the knowledge, he closes his eyes , his ever faithful memory leads hm back to the past, to the moment with his sister when she tried to tell him about the impact, influence of the CHOSEN ONE on our life ..ASR realizes then that his breath did indeed stop for a sec during the accident moment .. A sorely puzzled,turbid ASR walks to the window , A window which is casting back his reflection, a window which is showing him the Arnav hidden underneath, A mirror which is showing the Dual persons residing in one body, when to his utter bewilderment, the long sleeping heart of ASR awakens from its slumber , awakens with all its vitality, it capability for softer emotions intact and the awakened heart breathes out one word which merges ASR and Arnav..The word is KHUSHI !!
while at Gupta's ..Khushi , the hub of the Gupta's and yet the perennial outsider is outside thinking about the days events more particularly events that concerned a Mr.Laad Gavarnar, arms crossed, the bangles clutched close to her heart, when suddenly her heart begins to throb and why would they not for they have just heard the whispered call of its partner ..A startled Khushi clutches her heart , The bangles gifted by Arnav residing close to her heart,listening to her heart beat...Khushi begins to puzzle over Arnav's action, disbelieving the fact that Arnav gave HER bangles , her face breaks into a smile , a smile of pure joy as she tinkles the bangles , A joy which is shared by her parents twinkling up in the sky ...
what I liked about this scene was the realization of ASR not Arnav but ASR ... Arnav always did have a soft corner for Khushi , he fought for her, wanted to wipe away the tears while it was the ruthless ASR who always played Spoil sport , who ensured that the tap never ran dry in Khushi's eyes, who trashed his feelings for Khushi ..when the reflection process begins, it is the reflection, reverie of ASR [ kudos to the director for incorporating ASR theme and clearing that point ]for if the love story has to proceed to another level, it is exigent that ASR accept it for without HIS acceptance the Love is doomed !!.. After due contemplation, due thought ASR finally accepts the truth, accepts Khushi as part of his life's fabric and for now the warring Arnav and ASR are one and united !!

The Marriage preparation is on in full swing but ASR is not free from his royal duties, he is involved in meeting,conference when Anjali begins her litany... Anjali wants the Bridal clothes to be handed over at the Gupta's , perking up , shutting his camera, NK volunteers, He is even willing to run the gauntlet of Buaji ..Arnav who had been busy with his business clients, does not say anything, brushes past NK, coolly pulls up the plate containing the Bridal dress, looking at NK fair N square delivers a outright lie..ASR says that he too si going THAT way and he will hand over the clothes ..The Cub has to defer before the Lion and NKK does so in ill-grace.. but both this straight forward , dignified Animals are unaware of the Snake lurking behind listening to their conversation silently ..
I loved a shot in this ..Arnav has taken the Bridal dress and is between the Dress [ Gupta's] and Shyam acting as the insurmountable barrier and the protector..
Here comes MAN IN BLACK
Arnav comes to the Gupta's house laden with Payal's bridal wear , hands it over to the elder ladies, sits on the sofa after being invited , his eyes immediately begin searching for that one particular butterfly amongst the myriad flitting around ... All the while maintaining a bashful, shy silence .. disappointed at not having a glimpse of Khushi, Arnav proceeds to leave ..when heavenly music reaches his ears as he gets to know the whereabouts of Khushi...The Knight in Black rushes to the outside area where Khushi is busy directing the cooks ..His probing eyes locates the object of his desire, the anxious and eager face slowly relaxes and a smile of sublime sweetness breaks out !!...Khushi who had been busy with the cooks comes towards the marquee with disposable plates when her loving heart bucks and prances as it senses the nearness of the beloved ..Khushi finds him standing in the corridor ..both look at each other and for the first smile at one another quietly and with gentle affection ..Both begin to walks in the same direction unable to tear their eyes away from one another , both come to the end of the road, pause and look at one another..smiling expectant but the distance remains , the gulf exists ...
I was irresistibly reminded of their WALKS before ..The first walk happened in the Dargah when Khushi in white [ purity] walks alongside Arnav [ clad in dark denoting the darkness ] ..both oblivious of one another, yet traveling in the same direction , a hint that they will traverse one another's path when her duppatta flies on to his face, a hint that she will bring the light into his darkened world ...The second WALK at the temple, in the sunset both resolutely looking away from one another, both determined to keep their paths separate , both walking parallel but studiously ignoring one another..., The third walk at the suicide point , both walking parallel aware that their lives has diverged yet unable to walk away, both walk in the same direction , stealing glances at one another, their bodies turned away from one another .. The fourth WALK during the auspicious occasion of marriage , both attuned to one another , both facing one another , both looking at one another , both accepting one another, both moving in the same direction,leisurely , gradually ...yet parallel !!..With this walk, they have completed the ritual which turns them Man & Wife and in the eyes of God and Natuer they are one !!
Khushi discovers she has been feeding a Cow while mooning on Arnav..like a true woman, she lays the blame on Arnav, but unlike the gallant man, Arnav demands to know what was his fault which dries up the words bubbling in Khushi's lips...Khushi diverts herself thinking about the half chewed plates but a softly persistent Arnav comes towards her and queries again ..Khushi begins to get flurried, seeing the gathering agitation, Arnav calms her down and gets down to helping her in tiding over her crisis like he has always done , like a true Knight !!..
Loved the fact that it is Arnav who finally had to climb down from his olympus heights [ in this case from the corridor steps] and meet her & Help her , does it mean Arnav it will be who will pursue Khushi at later stage ...
Who the hell dubbed for Daljeet, sweet voice remarkably like Daljeets but without the characteristics ups n downs of Daljeets voice pattern n devoid of life !!😡..Seeing that Anjali is a vrat fanatic, they could have sent her on moun Vrat instead of using dubbing artist 😊
