I actually do mind the ring. First of all, men wearing rings other than wedding do not appeal to me (not that ASR does not appeal to me, just saying) and secondly its the wrong finger if its a wedding ring (it sure looks like one). The scene wont be as distracting if he took off his ring during shoots. Just my opinion...

I agree with this criticism. ASR is not the jewelry wearing type. He even resists wearing raksha dhaggas, so how come he likes wearing gold rings? It goes against his character. I wish him and his wife the best, but he wears high collars, so why not put the ring around his neck? That way he will have his wedding ring on and not go against the character.

Besides, he already wears the Punjabi dhagga to indicate he's married. It doesn't go against the story because Anjali puts daggas on him. So he can wear that symbol without wearing a ring.

Khushi can get away with rings because she's the type of girl who likes jewelry. So Sanaya's engagement ring passes. But Arnav's is a different issue.

HI..I am new to the forum..
I was thinking about the ring recently.. I find it very much human for him to wear his wedding ring if he wishes to.. He is married and if he wants to wear his wedding ring to work that is his choice..
Stars like the Khan's and Devgan has personal tatoo's on them and they are shown on screen eventhough the character may not warrant it...
So I don't think as fans we should have any problem with Barun wearing his wedding ring to work..
I hope I am not offending anybody..
Keep up the good work..

Thank you so much for understanding where I am coming from. Acting is his profession and the character he is playing is not married so he shouldn't be wearing one. Considering a lot of detail goes into the show I don't understand how the production house can ignore this.

A raksha dhaga is not a jewelry.

ASR doesn't wear raksha dhagas as it is associated with religion, faith and things like that.

ASR never mentioned that he is averse to jewelry.
