ASR is NOT married ...yet

ASR is NOT married so why is he wearing a wedding ring?!

Okay so I know I'm going to be hated for this post, but I really wish BS would remove his wedding ring for the show. It's so distracting and it's getting
in the way of my enjoyment of the ARHI Magic.

I was pleased when BS removed his wedding ring during the Nainital trip. I thought it was professional and appropriate as his character is not married on the show, maybe he was asked by the Director, considering we were going to get some romantic scenes i.e. removing lights, Rangoli, blowing dust from eye and the Mother of all the almost Diwali kiss.

But I've noticed for the last couple of weeks he's gone back to wearing it, at first I thought he just forgot to take it off, but it looks like its back for good. The last few episodes have focused heavily on his hand, the Kangan in the pool, pulling KGG duppata, prasad scene etc, every time the camera focuses on the hand and I see the ring it reduces the impact of the scne. ASR is not married and it's so obvious it's a wedding ring, the fact that he is not wearing it on the left hand makes no difference, because the way his character has been shown, I can't see ASR wearing jewellery for the sake of it.

If only he didn't have gorgeous hands my eyes wouldn't get drawn to them, but they are and bam when I see the ring my mind thinks Barun and not ASR.

Look I think its great that he loves his wife and wish him only the best and I don't want to offend any fans, in fact I would feel the same if SI was married and decided to wear a Mangalsutra/Sindoor on the show, I'd be like W*F!

I would be interested in knowing what others think. Does it bother anyone else, are you used to seeing the ring, do you just ignore, how do others enjoy the romantic scenes...

Doesnt make a different just think if it as if he wears it when he thinks his wardrobe requires it. Removes it when he thinks he doesnt require . Think if it a just a piece of jewelery . Many guys wear rings now a days not married also so great deal.

plus thats his personal life and i for one is if its personal life then OUT is the word no matter how public you life is even if its pubilc career the word here is career. Remeber they live 2 lives one is public where they can be scrutiiced for their character and acting as a profession and private where i prefer one to its own and NO

I agree. . . Whenever i see his hands with the ring, i think of Barun not Arnav. . Its distracting. . .it doesnt really help the ArHi scene. . . Now, it only depends upon BS. . . Sorry Barun. . . But i really love you no matter what. . . :-)

Honestly...it is quite distracting...and especially for the past few days...the camera has been focusing on it way more than required...why can't he use his other hand to do the scenes???

But I guess it is his personal choice...

Honestly I never look at his hand because when ever he comes on screen my eyes are fixed on his face lol. I just forget about everythingelse and when they just focus on his hands tht time m bz imagining his face or what will happen now. I honestly hadn't noticed it until you mentioned it. But now I kno wht u mean by the gorgeous hands lol. He's just...HOTTT. lol.

Hey Sanaya has a ring too... (It might not be a marriage band but it definitely is on her ring finger!) I don't think it makes a difference whether he wears it or not... Half the time I'm too busy staring at those smoldering eyess 😍 And besides, for me that ring makes him look better :)

It's not THAT distracting... who cares!

Doesn't bother me at all, too busy focusing on his beautiful face to notice what's even going on around me. LOL.

Yeah, I think I read somewhere it's a commitment ring from her BF. To be honest I don't notice it as much as I notice Barun's ring. It's probably a sexist thing to say but I think because she is a woman I can overlook it but when a man wears a ring its more noticeable.
