Anu, I totally agree that there shouldn't be name calling... and that the forum atmosphere definitely needs to be better... I was only saying that I think there are people on both of the so-called sides who need to take care of this... regarding ppl not commenting, there are a whole lot of neutral and even biased people on both sides who probably don't comment because of the attacks... and that post also , i singled out only because that was the latest place which became a sort of battle ground and that was one post which I felt was not appropriate and had responded to as well... Apologies if I offended anyone... that was not the intent... Have to admit that when started out on this forum I had never thought there would be warring factions here as we don't have multiple heroes/heroines... But surprisingly even in such a space people do find reasons to fight!!

Regarding the post you are talking about : the member there very openly said, did she not, that she has a bias. Many many people took umbrage with that topic and told her so. Later, if you revisit the post, she did in fact explain what she meant to say. But not before, she was accused of any number of things...least of which was what she admitted too, which is having a bias towards Barun.

My point is, there is a way to conduct ourselves in discussion. If you find someone's comments instigating, then call them out on it and say I find this comment ------- (fill in the blank). Let's not get down to the name calling.

Can you see here how many people don't comment because they feel they cannot utter a word without being baselessly attacked. The members, not the characters, are real people. Even the insinuations that everyone here is a drooler - stop it.

I like the post but..kinda not agree with all points..overall I have to say that this just a show we watch and love it because of the story but more likely when there is good cast then show looks even more promising..I get that we all drool over ASR and admire him..because he is good looking but beside that there are other reasons for them..ASR is fiction character and portrayed very well by Barun Sobti..but we have seen in ASR is that may be he is harsh but he has soft corner ..harshness he had learnt from the cruel world out there..but still he is very well mannered..yes he had been harsh to Khushi..but from his point of view he was right at the moment but always regret later when thought deeply..on other hand Khushi is strong character in her own ways ..she is only person who was able to question ASR and now we see different side of ASR's character..but point is here that why we are bashing any character..why we just don't appreciate the actors who are living the character and making them real...Barun made ASR and Sanaya made Khushi ..Daljeet made Anjali..and other..we see people with different personalties around us but we don't criticize everyone..so why we sit and criticize fiction characters..and Drooling should we allowed..because Girls are Girls and they will always praise the person whom they like

Thank you so much for the post...IPKKND is all about KhushiArnav 's love story. So anyone who is a fan of IPKKND is also the fans of both khushi and arnav. If someone criticising any character's performance on a particular day,that doesnt mean they are against that actor or character.That is just their opinion about the perfomance on that day.

I totally understand. I have been part of some sane forums as well. I have also interacted and discussed shows where people knew how to differentiate between real and reel and moreover the flaws of the characters were discussed in a positve manner without defending the actor/character.

But when the TRP's come into picture and the CVs mess up everything goes for a toss. That's exactly what started this mess here as well. Trying to show Khushi as a silly girl just for the sake of comedy messed everything up. But it seems the CVs here have learnt a lesson and the track seems to be coming back on track. So this atmosphere will improve atleast I am hoping.

I love this show so much and I have so much to talk about but I just can't bring myself to go through the heartache again..

I am not a frequent visitor now...just a spectator on the sidelines...but wanted to put in my two cents worth..

This is a public forum...varied members...ranging from juvenile to even seniors...obviously the range of maturity and understanding vastly differs...some are pure kiddish...some really a treat to read...yes we have a code of conduct but more important is our personal code of conduct...individual..

honestly..since day one i had issues with ASR's harsh behaviour and to this date i cannot believe what this man got away with...but love him to the core...undeniably...and am a die hard Khushi supporter...so when either one of them is bashed...it hurts...period.

I love them...and when someone says anything that portrays them in a weak light...it hurts like hell..but still I agree with you one hundered percent..although they are fictional characters...the problem is they have found their way under our skins...sometimes it seems we care for them more than family and friends ( in some extreme cases )

We need caution on both sides...when we are criticizing not to be harsh coz it might be constructive for us...but emotional for others...and similarly when we are responding...respect is a must...at the end certain boundaries should not be crossed...but again frankly i dont see that happening...

some members are too immature and secondly, emotions are running too high..so lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that in order to argue with emotional addicts (actually i m qualified for that too 😊) we do not stoop down to their level...cheerio

Drooling should be allowed..because Girls are Girls and they will always praise the person whom they like...I am agree with points you all coming from..but for girls who loves Arnav's hotness have to discuss somewhere and have to get their emotins somewhere..and this forum lot of us go through same emotions so why not discuss those emotions with people who feel the same ..so tell me how many u all agree ..ASR we all Love you..

Anu - thanks for this post .

I have been hurled with insults the most becuase I always say things directly and do not hide myself behind diplomatic language .

This forum is for discussion , we have every right to dicuss and drool . In fact I think we should be allowed to bash a character and we do that too. So many bash posts for Shyam and Mamii and ASR too. But for some reaon , we are not allowed to bash Khushi . Whenever we bash her , gender issues and women issues come up and people make this a gender war-zone forgetting the Indian context .

I really feel that is very funnny and chidish.

Talking of double standard - I have only had one single standard - always - and that is Barun Sobti . ASR for me is nothign special - just another character played by Barun Sobti. I do not care who the female lead is . It can be any Ina Meena, Dika, BArun Sobti can create chemistry with any actress .

But that doesnt mean - I do nt like Sarun . I love their chemistry and admire Sanaya as an actress.

I personally do not care what the forum thinks of me . I have been said to practice incest here and what not I come to India Forum for entertainment and like to say what i feel freely . What is the harm if today I feel consoling ASR as a mom and tomroow I am enthralled by his sexiness. After all he is a character in TV and I am free to imagine myself in any relation to him.

I m just editing n posting my response in another thread since I ranted about the same thing

Why s dat whenever I point my fingers at female lead comments like "Woman s woman's enemy" n u r a ASR drooler type of comments arise...
but not when I m irritated Payal,Anjali et al?! their characters also wil have justification...no one questioned my feminism when I called Payal as laundary bai or Anjali a dimwit...in fact all joined wid me...n enjoyed it n contributed their share too ... Aren't v all big time hypocrites then?!
Y is dat my DP bothers whenever I say that the female lead character s OTT
fine..wat s wrong in drooling...Is anyone ready 2 watch a show widout a hot male or good looking female?! I accept dat love for one shud not lead 2 prejudicial behaviour 2wards other...and I also accept dat I drool over ASR...at least I accept n I remain in my boundaries than name calling other group (one comment really pissed me off...it was like "continue wid ur OTT drool"...who gav the rights 2 comment like dat?!)

And the most outrageous comment dat I came across was " U r being jealous of that gal" 🤣 (not pointed towards me...but still it irked me)

I remember v had a short discussion over this long time back, but I never thought dat situation wil this worse like PMing in groups...
@Shybabe ,napstermonster -plz do not stop posting for the sake few manner less people... ID n free Access 2 a social network may give the liberty 2 write their minds but more than that it helps trolls who enjoy this facility for taking out the gutter in them...

Argue about the points put forward...no one has the right 2 ask anyone stop posting here
