Totally agree Anu. This forum is indeed turning into a weird place. If everyone has to praise, WHAT exactly is the point of a forum? Every contrasting opinion, every criticism is termed as BASHING. Any flaw you point out in the writing directly means you hate that character, if you say you don't like the comedy, you're called boring. When Anjali's called stupid, then why doesn't anyone mind? And directly attacking a member and passing judgments on a person just cause he/she isn't liking something in the show is downright STUPID and totally unacceptable. It's time people start respecting other's opinions, and having more tolerance for their views...
What works for one person may not work for another, and even the so called "negativity" is only intended to improve the show.. Nobody here is an enemy of the cvs or their characters.

Well said Anu...!! People out there who cannot tolerate this show, should not watch it & refrain from coming on the forum and ruining other people's moods. There are people like us who are big fans of Barun & Sanaya and who love this show and been watching it since day 1. SO to those of you who cannot stop being negative, my advice is to stay away from this forum & better yet, don't watch the show...!!
Grow up people...!!!

I agree with you.

This forum has become male vs female.

If you say something against female we are the enemy, while its okay to say against a male, that is also a double standard is it not.

One thing most of them do not understand the fact men and women are different, we deal with our emotions differently.

You can not expect a guy Asr to express his emotions all the time, generally men are not like that. Especially men like him who went through a terrible ordeal in the past.

We females find it easy to express. because it is in our nature.

Let me find something on how male and female reacts to a trauma when happened in the past.

About ASR the only reason I have been able to understand him because we see the conflict he goes through.

While KKG its blank you really can not see her conflictions,So sometimes I find difficulty to understand her.

I would like to say that it sn't as black and white as you put it... I mean that you cna say anything about the male and get away with it ... I think ppl are there who can't take crticism of their favorite characters... be it ASr or Khushi... and people are there who really bash in the name of criticism as well ... on both sides...

As a person who has handled teams of various sizes, colours and shapes, would like to say the following:
a) When a person is saying something, let the words be listened to and intentions be understood in tandem. Taking one or the other alone at face value and debating over it will not help.
b) When you have expressed what you feel, own it up but dont feel defensive about it.
c) Lets remember that everyone can make mistakes.
d) What you take from what others give is your choice. Even if the intention was to make a personal attack, it wouldnt succeed unless you choose to get attacked.
and most importantly...
e) Let there not be groupism of favorite ppl for each person in this forum. Let this be an open group which welcomes all people especially the newbies...thats how teams grow...

This is what I saw and wrote my opinion. Yes there are few who do not see others pov and bash characters in the name of criticism.

I did not mean to offend anyone.😊

Hi Anu, long time no see:) i haven't been able to come online in a long time. Lovely post and totally the need of the moment. I am really sad to see this state of affairs in this forum, but I am not surprised. It has been my experience here that one word about the way Khushi's character is progressing or the way the character reacted to a situation and we have posts that allege that our dissatisfaction has its root in our hormonal addiction to Barun/asr, or that we have lost feeling for another woman's problems or that we are blinded by a hot face to the realities of the pain that the female lead is going through. Then there are nasty generalizations about gender bias and such rot. Why, yesterday I saw a post that made me fume, something in the line of how sad it was that a woman cannot understand the limitations of another woman... And this in response to an opinion that the female lead reacted in a way that was difficult to chalk down to her characterization (as they saw it). As usual, the result was the inevitable: the labels of Arnav/Barun droolers are flashed around and posts are even made with disclaimers about droolers. Unbelievable!!!!!!! Watching this serial, I really see the male lead's character progression but I see nothing for the female lead (i understand that there are those who can see the progression but my opinion, i cannot) And that is what I seek to see, what her feelings are. This dhak dhak stuff was okay pre-diwali
But what about now? Why no introspection? Why no inner conflicting thoughts about the bad and good she has seen in Arnav? And despite the Diwali night we have seen the return of dhak dhak. If we could see her conflicting thoughts instead of assuming her thoughts to be of any other 18 year old confronted with a guy like Arnav who did a "diwali turnabout" on her, it would be great in my opinion. And a comment like this would brand me as heartless, mindless, and a drooler!!!!
Why can't I be allowed to say something about khushi's character without being branded unfairly. I never make comments about both the lead actors unless it is to reply to a post, I think they are both amazing and perfect as Arnav and Khushi. Anyway...
Great post Anu. Sorry I went off on a long rant:)

Anu...love u for this post!!!

Well said… 100% agree wid you...

This is a discussion forum where we all are discussing abt fictional characters and a fictional serial...

I will agree to any healthy debate over any of the characters of the show but not World war 3 where people are bashing the characters and each other's left and right!!!

There is so much of negativity in this forum due to all the unhealthy discussions and bashing… as a result we rarely feel like coming to the forum and participating in any discussion…

This is a public forum and we all would appreciate if we keep the discussion to the show only and not to personally attack any users of the forum!!!
