Have we not all at some point in our youth flirted with the next door neighbour or the brother of your best friend or a classmate. What is so wrong in such an innocent behaviour. Yes it could get dangerous if pursued inapproriately but Khushi is no Lolita.
Why is it that we women have such a stringent moral code for women ?
Why is Khushi talking to NK, why does she have a deep back in her kurta with a dori, why did she not understand Shyam's intentions ? Like any of us ..where our parents taught us to distinguish between right & wrong she will learn the ways of life as long as her character makeup is strong.
And Somy this is a TV show and not a medium for teaching moral conduct. I just don't understand what the big fuss is about.
Just very surprised at the reaction.
Rgds

Ratna, and all ...
I just watched the episode again, and honestly am even more surprised at the reactions ... it was evident that Khushi was if anything, much more held back in her interactions with NK than earlier ... as though very conscious of the dori scene of yesterday ... and looking at Arnav hesitantly every time she talked to NK ...

Khushi may not have a Manorama type saasuma on the show ... she has about a million here on the forum 🤣

Hey a superb bang on post...I just love your analysis and how you have put the point s correctly...yes if ASR can change to ARnav then why not Khushi to KKG...and I sincerely feel we should let the CVs take the track forward as they want and wait for the story rather than judging Khushi on her behaviors and forgiving Arnav on his looks!!!!!

Will come back with more later!!!!

Loved your post dear... was waiting to see a post like this... "THAT" post seriously pissed me off big time...

Khushi wasn't flirting and even if she was whats wrong with a little harmless flirting??? Why do we always want the girls to be miss perfect goody two shoes... a little bit of imperfection, some flaws makes the characters realistic right??
I like the Khushi character... she is strong, brave and a little naive

"
It is the same line of thought which makes ppl believe that wearing a short skirt is an invitation of getting raped." loved this line... exactly... people need to change their mentality...

Sadly, in real life also the girl is always harshly judged but the guy's faults are forgiven immediately 😕

Actually Im just equally Confused😕

Like I don't understand how theses sudden impulsive post and thoughts come to people just by one or two episodes! If i recall, there were posts made back a while ago saying that ASR was sadist and there was the whole shebang about that issue and now I guess its Khushi's turn to be labeled as a flirt! I really don't understand why people form such opinions upon watching an episode or two, I mean even we took some time in truly seeing and believing what Shyam's character was like, so why can't we do that for Arnav and Khushi?!

And I agree with everything that you have stated! I really don't see how Khushi can be seen as a flirt when all she did is talk to NK nicely (and honestly you call that flirting 🤔), like she does with everyone else, and its not like she was flaunting everything at NK!

And at the end of the day people need to remember that this is a Fictional show, no need to be overreacting or analyzing everything pin point detail, relax its really not gonna make an impact on the show, writer, or CV's, please just enjoy the show how it is!

Sorry I probably kinda digressed but reading such post/complaints about every little detail gets to be quite irritating and a mood killer!

Love the show while it lasts ❤️

Hi Sowmya, I came online after so many days and see this post from you itna lamba and that too not your usual stuff😆 Kya hogaya hai yaar!!!!Now Seriously I loved what you wrote👏 and I don't know what was going on inthe forum but tell you what I thought after I just finished watching ME(I am so late these day😭)I didnot like Kushi flirting or whatever we call it with Nanheji, its not because of ASR or not because it will give NK wrong notions but for me Kushi's character is very matured in a way (I know sometimes she behaves childish) she knows the value of emotions, relations and feelings. And it is not her character to use one person to get reaction from the other either.
Then again I didnot like ASR using Lavanya against Kushi you know when but that guy didnot know the value of emotions but as soon as he understood the value he said quits with Lavanya.
I am really sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings here but this is my view
But then again its drama and for the sake of entertainment so I just forget everything and enjoy whatever they show in 20 minutes show to forget my real world and its troubles😆Lamba wala ranting hogaya yaar maaf kardo.on personal note I was in your area this weekend and told my husband about you.

She is 18 years old, not 12 years old. She was engaged. She gave her sister pointers on how romance shomance (in her filmy way) with Akash. She is not a child. She is not "innocent". She is 100% without malice and 100% golden hearted. She is naive and too quick to trust. I have always seen her flaw as her not knowing the consequences of her actions. Is it wrong to say that she doesn't know where her behavior is going to get her?

ive hit upon a new theory where she does know wht shes doing.
i half expect her to tell NK that tomo...saying all i do is to get ASR angry...sooo please stand on the sidelines with me...

so m going to give her tooo much credit in saying...shes being crafty !!

i also think this super craftiness will fall FLAT on her face and shes going to wonder why she started it in the first place... aadhe pagall...hehehee...

she can again be compared to the ranks of GLEE with her mist in brain qualities...

Exactly... who hasn't flirted when they were young???? I confess I flirted a lot 😉 ... it was harmless flirting... thats a part of growing up... Khushi in no way behaved inappropiately with NK... but what ASR did to La now that was almost cruel... he led her on... but I don't judge ASR because I love the flaws in him... that makes him real to me... and a flawed khushi is more fun to watch than an perfect khushi...

Sheesh people go and watch "Gopi Bahu" if you want to watch a doormat ... Khushi is perfect the way she is... MY suggestion to khushi "make Arnie's eyes green with jealousy baby 😉... you go girl... make him work to get you😆"

Somy first of all congrats for your first long analytical post.

I never thought this day would come 😆 just kidding 😉

Well I have slightly different take here.

Khushi was flirting just a little bit. Even though it was harmless and unintentional, she was. But I wouldn't hold her responsible for it.

Even if she was unaware of what she was doing, she understood that it irked ASR.

Even if we agree that she wasn't flirting it might look like flirting to another person ( from show's POV).

I said this in another post that ASR's words in the ME were ominous Adhe time tum hosh mein nahi rahti. Tumhe kabhi pata nahi hota ki tum khud kya kar rahi ho aur tumhare saath kya ho raha. Which meant that she is being friendly with NK but she isn't aware that NK is attracted to her.

ASR wasn't judging her but he only rebuked Khushi because he couldn't directly say anything to NK. But I don't blame NK here either. But we know that the cv's are masters of double meanings and symbolisms, so it also means she has let Shyam lose but she is completely unaware that he plotting murder.

I never have and never will blame Khushi for what happenedwith her in the past ( Shyam incident). Her family is responsible. She was victimized for being the adopted daughter.

We don't know what the cv's have in store for us. The story might go in any direction.Maybe Shyam will put the whole blame on Khushi...we still don't what kind of things Shyam will do or say, we still don't what NK's role will be. MAybe he will cook up a story about KKG. Shyam might somehow take advantage of KKG's friendship with NK.
