1. Shyam manhandling Khushi's fiasco - got partly recorded in Arnav's voicemail!

2. Arnav asking Anjali and Shyam to stay in his room for a night - Did he want to look in Shyam's room for something or did he find something there?

3. Arnav saying that the mehendi ceremony has to happen at RM!

4. Arnav missing for 2 hours with no explanation to anybody!

5. Arnav-Khushi-Shyam eye contact scenes after the Teri -meri dance sequence - Seems as though some facial reactions were purposefully omitted!

Has Arnav found out Khushi in some kind of trouble? Does he know it has to do something with Shyam but not exactly what? Is he suspecting something?

I do think Arnav's feelings for Khushi are genuine. His kiss did'nt have any ulterior motive! But why the sudden hurry in the courtship?

Between Didi-tere-devar and Tere mere, Shyam's manhandling episode happened.

Couple of stand out dialogues from Arnav to Khush since then:

1. Why do you go backwards when I walk towards you? (After tere-mere dance sequence)

2. Why are you scared of me? (Pool scene-kangan)

3. You can't handle everything by yourself! (Pool Scene-Kangan)

4. You don't know what's happening around you! (ME)

He is spelling out "Trust me" to Khushi and asking her to spill the beans! Though all this can be taken in the context of his love, the speed of the courtship seem to indicate more than love here. A certain kind of protectiveness and hence the urgency!

Subha, I am not sure if he knows about Shyam, I think its more of a trust and commitment issue. ASR, who doesn't believe in love or marriage,is suddenly chasing Khushi. This is what concerning her,she already had her heart broken once by him where he said you don't mean anything to me. She will not commit to anything from now until she is completely sure about his feelings. His love is genuine but he shows it thru challenges. She still feels somewhere in her heart he is all about haar-jeet and shart. She mentioned that again in the dori scene, shart ke aage bhi kuch hai.

Also its just my feeling, even if Nani brings up the rishta what if she rejects cuz of Shyam, may be she doesn't want to live under the same roof as him. its just my POV, I might be wrong.

You raise many interesting questions.And the scenario is very plausible. I would be very impressed with the CVs if this was pre-planned but disappointed as a phan gurl! 😊

Right now only my heart is doing the talking and thinking. Brain is on chutti from moment they danced!!

Edit: Though the trust thing could be purely because these have been through so much in the last few months.not because he knows about Shyam. Look how far they have come! i think thats another reason why Arnav is asking Khushi to open eyes at and look. He is asking her to look at the past!

Prema, Quite possible! You are right! I don't think Arnav really knows the whole truth. But is there a possibility, he is suspicious! What if he has heard some voice threatening Khushi and not the Rani sahiba stuff!

Out of the blue Khushi cries in the Sangeet! He did'nt ask her again why she cried! He is dropping a lot of one liners to her lately! Has suddenly became protective.

Even after the Didi-tere song, the encounter at the door, they seemed to just challenge each other the regular way!

Arnav may want to marry Khushi to protect her and because he loves her. I don't know if Khushi would refuse. Even if she does, Arnav may put a strong foot with Payash wedding and make Khushi agree. If Khushi is also under pressure from Shyam, she may find this the best way out (Khushi being really innocent of Shyam's real intentions).

Anyways, just a thought!

I think Arnav was always protective of Khushi. Not just since the Sangeet. Remember the gundas?

Quite like your interpretation, Aish! Though after the dance, I can't keep my head thinking, the worry started me probing into the scenes once more! I want pure Arhi track at this moment! 😉

Somehow I think CV won't put ASR in surprise mode! His character is supposed to be always one step ahead!

If we look closely to the Arhi and Shyam-Khushi, they kind of happened in parallel and moved at the same phase. Why circumstances brought Arhi closer, Shyam forced circumstances around Khushi. While Arhi blossomed beautifully, Shyam failed miserably.. So the climax would happen when Arnav and Shyam know about each other at almost the same time!

So I don't think Arnav knows yet! He would not sit around and woo Khushi when his sister's life is in stake! At this time, however if Arnav agrees for the wedding, I would definitely think, there is something fishy he smelt and hence the fast track! He loves Khushi and wants to protect her

But not to the extent of wooing her, so purposefully! And at that time, he did not have any clue of his feelings. Now he knows his feelings and he wants to protect her. At the time of gundas, it was the very protective thought, that scared him!

Also another scene that stuck out was when he goes to Khushi's room after the Tere-mere dance sequence. If you notice Arnav, they show a mirror reflection of him in the whole scene! (Can tell by the way Barun's hair was styled! - If I was wrong please let me know!) It is almost, like he is doing something out of character with a purpose! Again no bad intentions, but purposefully wooing her, owning her to protect her!

Anyways, if CVs want to tell later that Arnav is doing it for a reason, they have ample opportunity to fill up these sequences 😊

Its possible but inner phan gurl is saying nahiii!! Please marry out of love. Though it wont happen coz like you said ebverything will bubble onto to the surface at the same time. Khushi will confess her love but it will be a tad too late I think :(

He was always in love and always in denial till last week.!! But Cvs have set it up to go any which way!
