Have just read this whole post, WOW hats off to you Mary, it is superb!!!

I can't believe the time you must have spent analysing nearly 200 episodes to give all the symbolisms and meanings, it is a fabulous post and I am very grateful you have gone to so much trouble as I don't know or recognise the symbols in the show and very much rely on the brilliant minds of IF members such as you to point them out!!!
