I cant comment properly as I have not seen todays episode . Generally I will say that

Khushi needs to grow up from a silly kiddish girl to a mature woman and most probably ASR is waiting for that moment when Khushi will be receptive of his attention/ (read physical touch)

And

What sangeet are they talking about ?

The Cvs are making so much ho-ha about this sangeet - I am afraid it will be a complete let down. This production house just do not have the money to show a proper sangeet /wedding sequence . they cannot even show couple of relatives visiting the mansion for the festivities. 😕 Only Khushi and NK are there to dance gyrating their hips in lewd dancesteps . 👎🏼

They do not have the money to hire a ghodi and Akash may be compelled to ride Laxmi around the RM and come to his wedding alone.😆

This serial will soon lose its coveted primetime slot and will be reduced to an afternoon show.

However, SVMI's comment above prompted me to say that both characters are behaving in a passive-aggressive manner.

KKG plays this highly silly game of "you want silence, you'll have silence."

ASR insists there will be no competition even though everyone in the family is keen. And, then adds he won't attend if things are not to his liking.

My interpretation is that the writers are conveying key differences between the two characters.

ASR fulfills his own will == KKG fulfills the collective will.

ASR lays down the law == KKG bends the law.

ASR thinks of his comfort == KKG thinks of the collective comfort

I am not biased towards either character-----I simply feel that they represent different values, societal position and history. ASR didn't become the man he is without being self-centric and commanding. ASR doesn't do CONSULT. KKG is who she is because of her losses, her "orphan" position in the family and lack of self-awareness.

People focus!
This is not ASR vs Khushi war.
This is about how these CHARACTERS have been maligned recently and the dialogues and storyline has deviated from the original track altogether. Not just these two, just got over with watching the episode, and couldn't bear to watch the last part where the entire family lines up in front of ASR like a bunch of 5 years old caught doing wrong!
NANI! of all the people behaving like that was unbelievable, go and watch her in the episodes of the first few months, she commanded respect of the entire clan, even ASR couldn't just have his own way around her. (he didnt want her t know about Lavnaya and his relationship, why?)
It wasnt just manipulative Khushi that was wrong, nor ASR refusing to have sangeet that was wrong. These days EVERYTHING is wrong. and I dont believe I give my time to it!
Yes, one reason is BARUN, but how long can that sustain interest!

Okay even if we say he has full right to cancel the sangeet, shouldn't he have shot down the whole sangeet idea when it was first discussed.

Why keep quiet when a choreographer was hired, when his family was practicing?

I wish CVs had thought of something better than this cancelling of Sangeet thing, cos it is very lame and ASR is NOT lame.

I agree, if he had such a problem with loud music then why not speak sooner??? Lets face it this was all about irking Khushi because he had a bone to pick with her.

All this negativity makes me wonder why nobody talks about the positivity of the episode

such as the bond khushi have developed with everyone including asr

or how shes so smart to think of an idea in a lightinging instant to convice asr for sangeet

and amazingly, him knowing instantly that KKG must be upto something

than there was such a cute scene in the begning which showed asr begining to acknoweledge his attraction for her and kkg backing off from him (fearing to hurt her self more emotionally than fearing his direct hit)

and the precap indicating the story moving forwards towards a gloomy or creepy track!

Sorry TM, love your work and respect your POV, but I respectfully beg to differ with you on this one!

I think ASR cancelling the Sangeet "out of the blue" was VERY unfair, childish and also "bullying" behaviour on his part!

IF he didnt want that Sangeet to happen, then why not say so AT THE START?? Why wait till now? He knew the family was practicing and also a dance instructor was hired etc... AND Anjali looked confused when he said "I dont like loud music and noise"!!! She was like "WHAT...??"

Just as she pointed out...HER wedding had a Sangeet and PAYASH engagement had a dance etc... SO why didnt he have a problem with it then? I didn't even see him having a problem with the "charachter dheela" dance accept to tell La "what were you thinking"??? Probably coz the SONG was in-appropriate for the occasion!!!

SO... HE says he dosent want a Sangeet coz it's loud and he prefers silence! SO the family GAVE him silence! What was wrong with that? HE was imposing his will on SO many people, why cant THEY impose their will on him? It's a two way street! As I said in another post... the Raizada's indulge Arnav too much!!!

Finally someone is in the picture who is giving him a taste of his OWN medicine! I dont think there was anything wrong with it! He may be Hot and we may love him! But he was being a childish bully and he deserved what the family dished out to him!!!

Just my humble opinon!

I am not someone who likes ASR bullying...and find him equally flawed as Khushi

but that said...now I can finally begin to understand why he is such a human relationships disliker

With a sister like that who manipulates him emotionally...what more does he need.

Given their "great" equation could Anjali not have gone to him and just said..."I love you bro, but you have hurt me with your bullying"...from what we know he would have given in to her.

But this...by reducing him to an emotional state and then celebrating.

Sorry but this time I am with him.

the most disturbing part I found in 11 December is the insult of food.

I mean come on...this is pathetic comedy...people throwing away plates of food...shoes near foood...what!!
