Seriously these days i watch the episode and wait for the recap by HeadoverHeels coz i find her posts gives me the much needed punch i expected from the episode...brilliant funny and sexy.
Don't get me wrong.. not that i don't enjoy the comedy but lately that seems to be all they are focusing on... and by that i mean when the intense moments are there in the script they seem to get glossed over. This reminds me of the line from Runaway Bride when her friend tells Julia Roberts "Honey you just need to get your ducks in line ".. that's what the CV's need to head to.
Post La's exit and Arnav knowing that Kushi's engagement is broken they should be made more aware that there is "No real Barrier" between them.. and some kind of thought process should be triggered.. it doesn't have to materialize in the next episode itself nor do they need to dance a jig.. but some awareness should be shown at least physically if they heart is still not ready to talk. These days i don't see the body talk and that mainly my complaint. Coz as anyone who has had a crush will know you are intensely aware of the other person while you are trying to find out what the heck this all means.
For example in today's scene when Kushi was made to sleep on the bed .. i can understand her being afraid thinking he might be mad at her for putting him in this situation.. but it shouldn't be fear coz he is going to attack her!!! ... it would have been nicer if she was uncomfortable to be so close to him.. and him likewise.. they should have shown how acutely aware they are of seeing each other at midnight and then landing on the same bed side by side... the intensity should have set the bed clothes on fire... and when Kushi wakes up there should have been that awareness she should have blushed deep red coz he was almost brushing a hair off her forehead... this would have added so much depth to this scene.. i like the fact that he ripped her dress ( i ma letting my imagination run wild coz that's all there is left) but would have been so much better if she put her hands on his pockets trying to help him get the phone and and both become uncomfortable and struggle and him ripping if off in impatience and kushi gulping.. the same scene could have been loaded with pent up tension... but they turned it light hearted and started the bickering.. my heart had a glimmer of hope when Arnav stalked her back but all in vain.
The CV's have added a lot of scene's to throw these 2 together but somehow the chemistry they fizzle out and i don't understand why. I hope the upcoming Payash wedding stuff will add some fireworks.. i am almost hoping for the hate track to beging so that they do something else than argue like kids...frankly i don't see Arnav doing a battle on a sangeet i was actaully really happy the way he strode out of her bedroom.. it would have been unthinkable to have him jump out of a window etc.
They need to bring back the tension that dhak dhak... especially in Kushi coz we hardly see her gasping for breath.. yes on Diwali night he ripped your heart out.. but yourheart and mind don't need to agree always right Kushi?
I really hope the CV's start capitalizing on the moments that they have written in..and i pray this is not a deliberate attempt by the networks to tone things down to suit a more happy go lucky vibe
Sorry if it seems like i am ranting.. but all these scenes.. that dance scene where she landed in his arms and this on her frigging BED ON NEW YEARS really 'surprised me'. In contrast preferred the chemistry when she grate crashed his party... despite the insults that were hurled at each other at least they were acutely aware of each other throughout and this was depicted very well
i just want some heat back please...😠sigh!
