My opinion..I completely agree with your 6 year old son..ASR is an "angry man who is mean". But I don't think this should be a reason for the CVs to stop portraying ASR's character. I agree ASR isn't the totally perfect hero...he is a fictional character with his share of flaws. And such flaws are what makes the story interesting. Making his flaws vanish in one episode (would seem totally unbelievable) would dry up the storyline.
Yes, ASR has an ego, which comes in the way of him confessing his feelings. But this is what makes the story interesting. And regarding wanting the protagonist to be man enough to confess his feelings straight away - didn't Aakash do that? Wouldn't ASR doing the same be boring?
And I don't think the CVs are glorifying his arrogance..because by his arrogance he takes rash decisions that are hurting Khushi and him. Neither are happy. This doesn't seem like glorifying to me..If anything this shows me if we bring ego into a relationship, we are not going to be happy. Its another thing that ASR hasn't learnt this yet...but he will with time and experience. Its going to be a gradual learning experience, catalyzed by the love between him and Khushi.
Lastly, all I want to say is...let ASR be arrogant, let him make his mistakes and let him learn it the hard way. Because that is how life works.

I'm so happy you all support Khushi, and are concerned for her well being.

What will you all do when the big, bad, arrogant man wins her, marries her and beds her?

How will y'all stand it? 😉

there is lots to his character othan arrogance!!
i remember sanayas interview in sbs or sbb where she says
"arnav ko boht gusssa ata hai!!use sirf gussa dikhana ata hai!!toh woh uske jitne bhi emotions hain woh gusse ke thru hi emote karta hai!!"
not the exact words but aisa hi kuch!!his character is dat only!!
so watever he has for her love/care comes out gusse me!!
its khushi who takes that behavior!!
agar shuru se aisa nahi hua hota toh inki love story kabhi banti hi nahi!!
khushi ko jab arnav manhandle karta hai she takes it!!
let shyam drag her like this and she will just kick him out of the house or will retaliate!!coz she knows the truth behind arnav!she understands him!!
she knows that his intentions are not bad!!
right now both are EQUALLY hurt!!
they are fighting with each other for each other!!

bang on answer!! i don't mean there is no point/reason for the issue raised here..

well as per this definition today dragging someone forcefully against their will is termed as 'physical violence'...man i have dragged my kid bro so many times across the house, down the stair case to mom to complain when we were younger..and in typical ASR style like he did today!!😆 my brother is the one person i love most in the entire wide world, way more than i love even my parents!..so having pointed out another dragging situation...
so now how would u term Arnav dragging Khushi today?pleasee it is way too dramatic to call what happened today as physical violence!!🥱

anyway seriously khushi lets him have the liberty of touching her cz she understands him..knows how he truly is under all that anger..
she cringes at the softest overture of shyam!she'd have made mince meat out of him had he done 1% of the touching ASR does with her..

thus Khushi understands clearly that he is showing his love and helplessness to express through this..

i personally hate abusers, been called a feminist enough times cz i fight tooth n nail to drive a point abt women related issues smtimes...but i hardly think this calls for that!!

Not to be offensive to anyone...but my 2 cents on the topic

Firstly do not let the 6 yr old, 3 yr old, 4 yr olds watch the show they are two young and impressionable to watch IPKKND

Secondly to those who do not understand Arnav read some Judith Mcnaught or Nora roberts books to understand the fictional heroes who are mostly dominating and aggressive but on the insides super passionate and normally they show their dominating and badtameez aspect to the heroine's more because they are afraid that someone else is taking over their normally controlled life...

I hope i have not offended anyone...especially the mum's with kids...I am saying that becos I have a 7 yr old who does not watch the serials but is on the computer watching cartoons or playing games when I watch...but she is still picking up and noticing quite a few things from it which I wouldn't want her too...I would not want her to grow up thinking that its ok to be manhandled by the guy you have fallen for...we enjoy it because we can differentiate between fact and fiction...children are so naive they think cartoons are real...sorry in advance to anyone who doesn't like this post...😳
