How do you manage to find time for your home and family?! Do you have kids?

The bigger question is how do you find time to be on the forum??

It took its toll - I left, but not before having kids and doing the home, daycare, work, daycare, home shuffl. And am much happier for it.

Keep discussing - back on topic - marriage due to societal pressure.

Yes Anu, back on topic😊

I think the issue with Buaji or people like hers in the real world is self-righteousness. Bua is so adamant on her beliefs that she fails to acknowledge any other POV.

Getting back to the topic: societal pressure.

My best friend in college fell in love with my other good friend. It was one-sided. After a few years when she was being pressured to get married by her parents, she found the guts to tell my other friend that she loved him. He agreed to get married. It was opposed from both sides.
Finally the marriage happened.
Now both are married and have kids, but have severe problems in their lives because his parents still keep trying to separate them. I witnessed a huge showdown between them myself.

This is pressure for the opposite. Trying to keep them apart. In fact her parents also encouraged her to get divorced.
They both love each other, but the pressure is tearing them apart.😔

Well Anu I am glad you're living your life to the fullest. You enjoyed your work while you were at it. Now you're happy with the decision you've made. 😃

My friend has changed a lot. She was very happy-go-lucky and cheerful in college.
She's turned into a frustrated person now.
Her husband (also my friend) has become extremely bitter and pessimistic now. This is his own parents ruining their son's life because he married against their wishes.

Very common in India. Also, dowry issues are still rampant. I've read some news of highly educated women committing suicide due to pressure.

Sorry, am I veering away from the topic?!
