It is pointless to expect medical accuracies form these series. I hope they do not show type 1 Diabetes in a frivolous manner. Now that theyhave shown it, I would rather they underplay it than portray it inaccuratly.

Actually, the medical part is wrong ... if Arnav hasn't had his diabetes medication, he would be likely to go into hypergylcemia ... that's high sugar levels, which is asymptomatic unless it persists for a long time ... one day doesn't do anything ... long term it leads to other complications but not fainting ...

on the other hand if he did have his medication, and didn't eat anything after that, he would go into hypoglycemia, that's low sugar levels, which would lead to the blacking out and fainting ... he could go into hypo even if he didn't have medication and stayed hungry for too long ... controlling sugar levels in diabetics is by a mix of medicine and eating regularly soon after taking the medicines...

But if cv's get medical facts wrong in medical based shows like DMG and KTLK, am not expecting anything very factual from them here 😕 ... vaise bhi, have rarely seen medical details portrayed accurately in either movies or tv shows.

not in every case..my hubby is same as arnav..he keeps chocs with him when his blood sugar gets low...even after medications..😊

creatives r doing superb job b/c if a person is diabetic and on medication so its v rare that by skipping only one dose can cause problem...SO the most common problem which diaebetic can suffer is HYPOGLYCEMIA means low sugar level...so WELL DONE creatives...

In a regional movie, the Doc says that the female lead is suffering from a rare type of incurable cancer called 'Hypoglycemia' and she would die anytime... 🤣

At least the CV's here are sane enough to show something related to diabetics, if not accurate. 😉 😛

hahaha...in which movie?HYPOGLYCEMIA is not a rare type of cancer its mean LOW BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL...it is the most common symptom which occurs in diabetics ...so most of the people think that a diabetic person can suffer from high sugar level but fact is that a person who is on oral hypoglycemic agents or on insulin its v rare that he can suffer from high BS BY SKIPPING ONLY 1 or 2 doses...so WELL DONE creatives to show arnav AS A HYPOGLYCEMIC CONDITION...
