Hope the CVs consulted a doctor or pharmacist before scripting this scene to make it realistic.

Diabetic patients never can have low blood sugar level without medicines

The medicines given to them are hypoglycemic agents, which reduces blood sugar

Without taking the medicines their blood sugar levels can raise and they may have symptoms related to that

actually creatives did littel mistake here they did nt show that arnav missed his medicine b/v diabetics should control their sugar level with oral hypoglycemic agents or insulin..if they did nt show that part then its o.k b/c some time these medicine loweres the sugar level below normal range so diabetics go in hypoglycemic conditions rather then hyperglycemic...otherwise in diabetics hypoglycmia can happen and that time they dont need medicine but need sugary stuff to increase their sugar...may be arnav will miss his medicine and will go to trip without it and when anjali will come she will tell khushi that chote went without his medicine and khushi already saw his hypoglycemic condition that is why she will worry that he ate too sugary stuff and skipped whole day medicine in nanital may cause HIGH SUGAR LEVEL And then she will go after them to give these medicine...
