I don't think Arnav's character is ruined. As a matter of fact, his character is supposed to be flawed and imperfect.

I don't think Arnav really knows what it is to fall in love. I don't think Arnav thinks of love as an emotion to be felt for someone. Instead he thinks its enough if two people are compatible with each other and think alike (thats what he tells Anjali). We know he isn't really in love with Lavanya...but he doesn't. And hence his answer to Lavanya when she asks whether he loves her is right from his viewpoint (although we know it to be untrue).

He is yet to realize that he doesn't love Lavanya and he is yet to discover how love feels.

Arnav's character is one who believes, he knows what he wants

he believes he lives his life as per his terms and conditions
he also believes he is never wrong

he is one who believes himself to be in love with Lavanya..whatever the meaning of love to him is
which to him means
1. compatibility
2. like mindedness
3. acquiescence
4. same ideology
5. even keel and straight forward interaction

all this he finds in La who agrees with him, who also does not belive in marriage..at least not at this point, does not contradict him nor does she give him highs and low but gives him a smooth ride...

for his that is love...or what he believes is love...

it is a girl who unknown to him is affecting him, contradicts him, challenges him, unsettles him and he is not liking the feeling he is rejecting it, fighting it..

he does not know her thoughts crowding him does mean that he is getting involved with her...

he is in all his straight forwardness is giving the best he can to La...

and that is a place in his bed, house and heart...only things will change...

he i hope in future will apologise to La for giving to tepid feelings and not the intense ones that are evoked by Khushi...

he has yet to fall in love intensely to know the difference...

Give him time...

one day he is going to stand by his decision which he made with his head to be with La as he cant stand failure and let go of his heart's desire and make himself miserable...

he is going to suffer the way he has made Khushi suffer!!

and La poor soul is stuck in middle of it...

i hope she finds a nice guy...who will love her enough to repair her from the damage caused by Arnav's insensitive handling!!

Cv doing good job n showing how much arnav don't care about traditions and people as well the value of marriage relation or relations n general and in contras khushi is the one opposite to him who knows all those valuse and how respect ppl so we have good objective here n how khushi will change raizada family relations , cv doing good job n building the base story line let's see how the story will goes

Maybe Arnav does love LA, however, just as a friend. There is a big difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. He might love LA as a friend and he is falling in love with Khushi. As my favourite author Jane Austen said " there are as many forms of love as their are moments in time."

he doesnt knw wat love is...coz he doesnt evn call his relationship wid laa as love...

or may b his perception abt love ws or is still wrong till he realizes his strong feelings fr khushi..😊.

ermm this is confusing me..up til now he hasn't spoiled her life..hope he doesn't do that in future too..coz obviously we'll feel bad if sth of that sort happens..i just hope before anything wrong happens destiny brings khushi and arnav closer so that they realize the importance of each other in their life..

all this arnav confused about his feelings towards khushi and all should not be considered at this stage for him since he hasn't felt that way for anyone,so its new for him...so we similarly cant judge that he's falling for her either..rest what he's doing with la is his own decision and as everyone's said he's doing it more-so impulsively to make himself content that he's-his-own-god..

Nope...they are just showing how misunderstandings and a bitter past

can ruin your relationships or approach to life...

Whateva tragedy happened with ASR could only end up with two possibilities

1) He became a larger than life,mahaan, devta type character

2) Getting more passionate and aggressive for achieving his goals

(which he opted for n hence bought his haveli back )

So i dont blame him...n also khushi is somehwat similar to ASR in terms of stubbornness...if she would've listened to him once things would've been diff...like hello khushi u r accusing him that he wanted her to die??

then why would he come there...

I posted this reply to you on my thread too...

I don't think he is intentionally being SELFISH in his relationship with LA...I don't think ke knows yet that he is hurting her by thinking about Khushi when he is with her. To him...his thoughts of Khusi are just annoying...and unwarranted...hence he questioned himself yesterday...Why do I think about her...why is she on my mind?? His memories of Khushi...and the times they have spent together are not indicative of his growing feelings or his attraction towards her...he still finds them annoying but unstoppable!!

I too wonder, if and when he will realize that he has wronged La too...as he realized his mistakes with Khushi today? Today...when Shayam reminded him that once we say something, we can't take the words back...re was reminded of all the time he hurt Khushi...physically and mentally and emotionally...and felt regret at never being able to take that back!!

I think this realization in itself reveals tells us of Arnav's true character...he is not as mean and spiteful as he presents himself to be!!!

And I just wanted to Add we are talking abt the char getting ruined but really have we seen all the shades of the char already to make that sort of a judgement

Idon't think they are ruining the character .He does not beleive in the sanctity of marriage.He does not realise what he is doing to LA.He thinks he's modern,LA thinks the same way so why bother about marriage it's just a piece of paper in order to be approved by society.Of course we don't like what's he doing to LA .But today in the world we live that's the way it is.A lot of people have a live in relationship just because it's good to be with someone,or to try if they manage together;but most of people forgot that girls are not tissues we can throw after using or shirts we can change everyday.Poor LA she doesn't even realise what's waiting for her.She says she loves ASR,and ASR does not beleive in love.both of them dont know the meaning of love.LOve is to give,one never gets tired to give to his /her partner,the more he gives the more he gets and wants to give.This is true love.Love is also commitment ;love is building something together and also all the things Anjali said to her bro yesterday.The day ASR and LA will fall in love each one with their real love they won't be able to stay together anymore.Right now ASR is fooling himself.Look at the way he took LA's hand off his jacket yesterday and remember the way he did it with Khushi when he brought her back home from the guest house.ASR starts having feelings and is very disturbed because he never allowed himself to have some and as he said to his sister he thinks not feels.Khushi makes him feel and LA not.Khushi was right when she said :he thinks he's god and everyone has to bow in front of him but i'm not like the other girls ,(that's why she's the one for him.)

And now for the character i think the cv's want us to realise how complex our emotions are,why people don't fall in love,what real love means and the improbable way it comes to people lives.And also to consider the importance of the Divine in our lives.

i can't beleive i wrote so much, hope it wasn't boring,thanks for reading.
