Barun is still not that good as ASR - Page 5

At times I too feel that there is something lacking like I think he could be better. But then at other times I'm like his character is supposed to be like that. Like we're not supposed to know what's going on in his head which he does perfectly

I think Barun is doing a really good job as ASR. I can't imagine anybody else who could play it better than him. People talk about some other actors who played an angry young man too. I have seen those actor's seens too but honestly speaking, I did not find any flaws in Barun. Barun is very versatile actor. He can portray angry man, soft hearted, rude, naughty guy all very well while other actors may play angry man very nicely but they are not as good as Barun to play a naughty character or innocent character. In BHPH he showed all his talent as a naughty boy, innocent like a kid, and at the end, very emotional guy. I don't see any other actor other than Barun who could be better than him. I am not saying that because I am a Barun fan. but because he is a very good actor.

I don't think any current actors can emote ASR like the way Barun Sobnti does. This is not even about the chemistry aspect as Sanaya and Barun share sizzling chemistry, a chemistry that you see very few in couples on television, but I don't think no one can do more justice to ASR's role but Barun Sobti. He emotes so beautiful, each pain, each moment. His eyes express more than any words. He is not your regular college guy whose supposed to just dance around trees and deliver his line. His character has much more depth, much more emotions. Whether it's Arnav or SASR, he gives a new spunk to the character. As Arnav, he emotes more because it's his sister. He is close to her and does not have a throw a facade while as ASR, his character has many shades.

In many scenes , he directly overshadows Sanaya and Daljit in scene because he is that good. So I don't want to imply you are wrong or whatever, but majority audience will say that Barun Sobti is SO good that it is unbelivable. He makes the character of ASR and Arnav come alive litearly.

I agree with the topic maker. Although granted he definitely has improved from the initial days, however I often find it difficult to interpret his 'expressions'. I understand that his role demands him to be reserved, stiff, arrogant and completely to himself, but there are certain scenes whereby his gaze is blank and lifeless. Perhaps his acting skills does not reach the expected notch due to Sanaya's overpowering characterization, vibrancy and enhanced acting abilities.

But I'm confident that he will improve = )

n its totally unfair to say dat smtimes he overshadows sanaya bcoz he doesn't...😲 acting wise sanaya's way better dan barun...der r some scenes wer barun's very gud bt dat isn't consistent...😔

I do think it's the writer's fault,I feel Barun is a fine actor,but I DON'T think he is better than Sanaya.Sanaya's a more powerful actor, IMO.

i agree with u.
I dnt say he is not good actor...his acting is great and improving day by day...but the thing is in sme scenes ...it hav to convey every emotion through eyes...without talking and without any actions...i dnt say he doesnt do it...but it needs to be increased a lot.
And i totally disagree tht he is expression less.
His expressions are veryy well and nicely done.

Lets agree to disagree...I think Barun is doing a fantastic job...his character is stoic and is meant to keep all of his emotions inside.
