I think he is doing good..

KSG was an initial consideration.. i can't help feeling at times that he would have rocked this..

i think u hav missed the point...that its in his character to be emotionless and expressionless at times...because Arnav is so different to so many other angry business type people...his character is jus very different...and there are people like him in real life...so...i think he is portraying his character to the best way anyone can do...he has done a fab job as Arnav!

Barun is perfect as asr. I always think he give the right expression on the right time. And we can easily understand what feels or how he feels about think through his expressions. He never mislead us to a different understanding by his expression. Wel done to him, I watched some of his past actings in other shows I think he is a different person now as his acting has improved alot. Love him b

his acting was fab in his previous show. now he is rocking as ASR..

The scene you posted is not included in that sometimes,I really really like the way he is checking her out lol,having watched his first show too I know that he has an absolute adorable way to act in these scenes and the best part is those ways are not only new and different from the previous times but they suit the character too.Swayam khurana had a different style than ASR.

I already wrote that according to me he is one of those actors who are very good in some scenes while in others they are not,just average.Not very versatile.

I have not watched his previous serial nor do I know a swayam Khurana ...But I have seen him Figo Advert n in the Hero Honda and have always been surprised by his range of emotions ..all expressed without a word ...

As for versatility...I would say versatility comes with experience and Barun is still inexperienced ..he is learning the tricks,nuances of acting ...Barun is lot better in comparison to many actors who think that they have got it made by having a 6 pack, glowering look and wooden face ...Give him time cherie, to grow up and grow into the role ...😃

Hey yaar! Frankly, I think Barun is doing a wonderful job!! See, as far as talent goes, you either have a talent for acting, or you don't. And as a lot of people have seen from Barun's last show, Baat Humaari Pakki hai, Barun clearly has a knack for acting. And Arnav's character is also completely opposite to Shravan (in BHPH). For instance, Shravan was very open about his feelings, and was very childish, while Arnav hides his feelings and is mature... maybe even too much for his age. Obviously, this transition MUST have been difficult for Barun. And well, it does take a while to warm up to ur character and understand it. Taking all this into consideration, I think Barun is doing an AMAZING JOB... beyond what words can speak. And as far as expressions go, well, he DOES portray emotions VERY WELL. Just watch Arnav's facial expressions in Khushi's fainting scene. The anger, the confusion, the shock... it's all CLEARLY visible... at least to me!! :) But I DO respect your opinion and am happy you voiced it here!! Hope I didn't sound harsh sweetie! Wasn't my intention!
