DV,

in the scene u mentioned, there was a sun with 12 spokes inwards,12 rays outwards and a center , somewhat like a wheel. i think, it represents something fixed at the same point without moving ahead or progress, but keeps repeating itself in cycles. EBP is all about these cycles. in this case, i think, prabhakar revisited kalindi in the form of ankush. there is probably not much difference between father and son, though they belong to two different generations and the world around them changed so much in this time period.

i only saw three ganesha idols below the sun and only the shadow of the fourth one was visible. kirloskars are represented by elephants here, because of their endless patience and dignity even in testing times.

Hey Rekha, nice explanations on all critters. Loved how you are connecting the various actions of Ashlok to those of the critters.
Liked the latest one, about the snake and its impact on them. A latent desire for each other along with some fear and inhibitions from Aastha which she will overcome with the help of Shlok.

Liked the one on The rats too. AAstha has conquered her fear of the big daddy of all reptiles, the snake (of 'll the critters shown so far). Keep them coming. Love the analysis behind each and every animal, figure or painting or the bg objects.

as for the symbolism, shlok changed aastha's bindi from the crescent one to the one that resembles a full moon. the phases of a moon depend on the relative positions of the sun, the moon and the earth. a crescent forms when sun is not shining on the half of the moon that is facing the earth. a full moon happens when the sun is shining fully on the half of the moon that is facing the moon.

i always felt that the sun is shlok, the moon is aastha and the earth is anjali. i guess, it is important for shlok and aastha to be properly aligned to brighten anjali's world.😊

Fantastic 😃Rekha ,u r too good in this field...
I know many Mahatrians wear bindi wid this design but is there any specific reason? Ok leave it as here we are talking abt symbolism with Kalindi's and laxmibai's bindi.
Shlok might have changed Astha's bindi for good

Rekha,

Agree with u...they will have. A heart to heart talk on Monday and they will sort out the differences and slokh is going to attack NA in his own way...I think slokh and astha will work together on this...for sure slokh will know the truth before he is out of the jungle...

Precap is a dream ...NA cannot be exposed like this...but we never know cvs what's running in their mind...
What say????

lotus,
just read somewhere that a crescent accompanied by a tiny dot is worn by maharashtrian brides and married women. the crescent represents moon and the dot represents the star, rohini. it represents the togetherness of a man and his wife.

may be shlok wants way more than just their togetherness. aastha should be able to show compassion and understanding to not just shlok, but also to the likes of sojal and anjali. he probably wants the maturity and soothing light of a full moon.

oh sorry divya. i didn't check the other post probably. thanks for posting it here.

yeah i am expecting shlok to open up properly this time, unlike the incomplete story he told aastha after swathi's death. aastha assured him of her unconditional love for the nth time. this should drive his fears away.

i think, he is plagued by fear of abandonment, if aastha comes to know about his family, like swathi left him. that is probably why he keeps denying aastha's charges on his father. so whenever he feels that there is a chance that aastha will leave him, he pushes her away himself by being rude to her, because of his inability to trust people and relationships, reasons being his dysfunctional family and a mother, who betrayed him.
