PART 2
Shlok was irritated as he drove back to the hotel, he didn't know who had called him but he didn't like having his time wasted and on top of that Astha was hurt what if she needed him. In anger he pressed down on the gas and drove faster towards the hotel, he didn't have a good feeling, something was wrong he could just feel it and he didn't like it.
MEANWHILE BACK AT THE HOTEL
Astha had woken up and was disappointed upon not seeing Shlok around, she slowly got out of bed her foot was still a little sore but she was able to put weight on it, she slowly walked out to the living room area where she saw Aditi randomly flipping through the channels on the TV.
"Arre Astha kuch chahiye tha toh mujhe bula leti" Aditi smiled
"Nahi woh Shlok nahi dekhayi de rahe" Astha enquired
"Haan Shlok kuch kaam se office gaye hai" Adit informed "tumara pair kaisa hai ab?"
"Ab theek hai" Astha replied
"Toh theek hai chalo na neeche jaa kar gol gappe kahte hai, mein toh kamre mein bahti bahti bore ho gayi aur bhook bhi lagi hai" Aditi said getting off the couch.
"Shlok ka intezar kar lete hain phir hum teeno chalein ge"
"Kya Astha tum bhi na kabhi" Aditi said linking her arm around Astha's waist "mujhe bahut bhook lagi hai aur phir bilkul neeche he toh hai"
After much convincing Aditi led Astha downstairs to the street vendor selling gol gappe across from the hotel as she shut the door behind them she gave an evil grin. Aditi led Astha across the street to the gol gappa stand, helping her cross the street
"Bhaiya dho plate dena" Aditi smiled she handed one plate to Astha and took one for herself. After a little while Aditi turned to Astha "wapas chalein?"
Astha nodded and they turned to head back Astha oblivious to the truck that was coming speeding down the hill towards them
"Shlok kabhi tumara nahi ho sakta Astha" Aditi said as pushed Astha in front of the truck, Astha had barely enough time to turn back and look at Aditi with shock before she was struck by the truck
"SHLOK" Astha cried as the truck hit her throwing her into the air
"Goodbye Astha" Aditi smirked as she noticed a crowd starting to gather she switched in to character
"ASTHA OMG HELP...koi hai...HELP" she cried as the crowd gathered around to see what had happened
As Shlok turned the corner to the hotel he was shocked to see a crowd gathered in front of the hotel he quickly pulled over and ran over to the crowd a sinking feeling in his heart. As he pushed his way through the crowd what he saw shook his world to the core there was his Astha lying on the ground bleeding profusely
"ASTHA...ASTHA" Shlok cried pushing his way through the crowd " raasta chodo...maine kaha raasta chodo...ASTHA...ASTHA" Shlok finally pushed way through crowd and ran over to her gently lifting her into his arms
"Astha...Astha tum theek ho...Astha ankhein kolo...dekho Shlok agaya...ASTHA" Shlok yelled
"Sh...Shh...Shlok" he heard a faint whisper as Astha slowly opened her eyes
"Astha main hoon tumare paas" Shlok said holding her closer to him
"Sh..Shhlok voh Ad...Adi..Aditi..."Astha said grabbing onto his shirt
"Aditi...kya Aditi..."
"ASTHA" Aditi cried running forward and leaning down next to her "main theek hoon main yahi hoon" she acted
"Shlok...Aditi... ne" Astha tried to get her words out but was unable to finish her sentence as she passed out in Shlok's arm
"ASTHA" Shlok cried "ASTHA ANKHEIN KOLO"
Sirens were heard and the ambulance soon arrived on the scene the paramedics quickly loaded Astha into the ambulance as Shlok tried to climb in with her
"Sir aap please gaddi mein aajayi hum kaam karne ke liye jaga chaiye"
"Par..."
"Please sir in ki halat bahut nazok hai dher mat kijiye hum jaane dijiye"
"Theek hai tum jao par meri Astha ko kuch nahi hona chaiye" Shlok demamded as he ran to where he had pulled over his car and got in, as Aditi too tried to climb into the car
"NAHI" Shlok yelled "tum jao aur jaaka Baba aur Varad Bhai ko phone karo main Astha ke paas jaa raha hoon" Shlok directed her as he drove off barely giving her the chance to shut the door.
Shlok drove like mad not once letting the ambulance out of his sight; he honked his horn screaming at a man crossing the street to get of his way, not once putting on the brakes; the man just barely made it out of the way before Shlok's car whizzed past him.
"Astha tumhe kuch nahi ho ga main hoon na main tumhe kuch nahi hone doonga"Shlok chanted over and over in his head.
After what seemed like forever to Shlok they made it to the hospital, as the paramedics took Astha into the hospital on a stretcher Shlok ran alongside them right up to the Operating Room where he was stopped by the nurses
"Sahb aap undar nahi jaa sakte" the nurse said stopping Shlok
"Kyun nahi woh meri patni hai" Shlok said trying to push past her "Mujhe uske paas jaana hai"
"Sahb please hume apna kaam karne dijiye warna dher ho sakhti hai"
"NNNAAAHHHIII" Shlok shouted "AGAR ASTHA KO KUCH BHI HUA TOH MAIN TUMHE NAHI CHODOONGA"
"Sahb aap front desk pe jaa kar kuch formalities poori kardo hum apna kaam churu karte hain" the nurse said heading into the O.R
Shlok stood in front of the door to the O.R looking at Astha lying on the operating table tears streaming down his face "Astha" he whispered he turned to go complete the formalities so he could return to Astha quickly.
When he got to the front desk he was asked to fill out some forms, which he quickly filled out and handed back to the lady who said "I'll be right back Mr. Agnihotri"
Shlok nodded and turned around when he saw Aditi coming around the corner and he saw red as her words rang in his ears
FLASHBACK
"Kya hua Shlok" Aditi said walking over to him "tum pareshan lagrahe ho"
"Haan Aditi mujhe kuch der ke layi client ko milne jaana ho ga aur Astha..."
"Toh mein hoon na Astha ke paas tum jao" Aditi smiled sweetly Shlok looked at her finally nodding his head he grabbed the keys to the car and headed out.
END FLASHBACK
"Shlok" Aditi cried running over and putting a hand on his shoulder "Astha kaisi hai"
Shlok flung her hand off his shoulder and screamed at her "KYA KAHA THA TUMNE...KE MEIN JAAOON CLIENT KE PAAS...TUMHO ASTHA KE PAAS" grabbing her roughly by her shoulders and shaking her " toh phir bolo baatao mujhe ke Astha ki yeh halat kaise hui" he threatened
"Shlok v..."
"Mr. Agnihotri all the formalities are complete please pay the fees at the cashier's desk" the lady at the front desk interrupted handing him a bill
Pushing Aditi away roughly Shlok reached into his pants to grab his wallet, he patted his pockets not finding his wallet he remembered he had left it in his car "Excuse me I'll be right back my wallet is in my car"
The lady nodded and Shlok ran to get his wallet leaving a shaken Aditi behind. Shlok ran over to his car and flung the door open frantically trying to find his wallet when he heard a phone ring in the car, he checked his phone but his wasn't ringing, when he noticed a phone lying on the backseat he quickly grabbed it
"Yeh toh Aditi ka phone hai" Shlok said confused
FLASHBACK
Shlok lifted Astha out of the car and turned to Aditi "Chalo" he said nodding towards the hotel entrance
"Shlok tum Astha ko leh kar undar chalo mera phone car mein reh gaya hai"
END FLASHBACK
"Agar Aditi ne car se phone nahi nikala toh phir usko upar aane mein itni dher kyun lagi?" Shlok wondered when the phone rang again, he glanced at the screen and noticed it was a call from his home, he quickly answered
"Hello"
"Shlok?"
"Haan woh Aditi ka phone mere paas hai"
"Main Sojal Vahini bol rahi hoon maine yeh baatanien ko phone kiya tha ke Baba, Sasu Bai, aur Varad Goa ke liye nikal chuke hain thori dher mein pahunch jayenge"
"Theek hai Vahini" Shlok said hanging up, grabbing his wallet and running back to the front desk
