he did not speak even for kavya when she was punished
the only time he raised his voice was when aastha took the intiative!!

so what does this mean? is varad a weak personality and needs support ...if support given only then can assert himself??

you are right. He may not be selfish but just needs that extra push sometimes.
but he was strong enough to choose a profession of his choice against his father's wishes!

why doesn't he find that strength to stand up for his daughter atleast for basic needs like food?

Varad may wanted to be, but the customs might stop him too...

Jyothi itself is example...both brothers couldn't do anything ..tis Aastha to do something with jyothi.

Jyothi coming for swami Pooja form sbs says..that jyothi will talk to aasthaor aastha will see something.

Regarding varad Sojal never also lived for herself ...so where would varad get the chance to fight back..

So varad is seeing astha only source to get back.

But does Aastha need so many tears and no food..even courageous.

Imagine jyothi...

he knows the contacts his dad has and how his life can become difficult if he directly attacks niranjna

or maybe he his head out of household situation to avoid the headache

i'm sure the writers will reveal an interesting mystery to varads character

he is shown getting friendly to aastha

there is something behind this

One word from what I saw,when jyothi doesn't want to go shlok intervened to stop jyothi but NA stopped shlok saying cutoms ..and varad didn't at voice out for jyothi..maybe he is mum as he can't go against the cutoms..

Though Varad looks kinda sweet and his actions doesn't look suspicious, I still have my doubts. After all ,he is from the Agnihotri khandan. Just can't believe anyone can be normal in this family.

Hey DRs11 ,

Agree with you that Shlok did not tap the plate , only NA and Varad. But have they shown Shlok ask for some more food like NA or Varad had too. Was fit to show that Anjlai and Sojal were not looking at NA and Varad's plate and so they had to bring in their attention, where as Astha put more food in to Hslok's plate before it was finished.? Shlok is better and he hates the way Anjali does this drama on the did ign table , so he purposely does not do it.

he is not that normal

being mum for your own wife and daughter is not normal

he is not aggressive ...he is more passive...not normal

may be NA chose media for varad to mask his face in public...and also NA does not seem to be the kind who would directly assert his choice on other...he wears a good father mask and maintains it..

i also see varad/shlok team up for cheering aastha...not sure though!!

varad also seems to be EBP chacha

would try to update on varad on weekend in detail

another resemblance i find in NA and varad

both assess the situation well

NA speaks what he knows no one will contradict and sometimes has to go out of the way to keep his good image

varad having not the status of NA...speaks only when he knows he will get the desired result ...otherwise he keeps mum...
