Thanks Mahin for liking it, your request for obsessive advay is next on my list. Hopefully I will be penning it down soon but mind it that won't be pg-13 stuff😛😆

I just love your style of writing, Ash. Simple story, real practical life incidents, non-flavoury straight dialogues just like the way a real normal person would talk or behave (that makes it easier to relate to the characters so well) , simple English that anyone can read and understand and above all, no major 9;-the-knees romance and high heaving suhag raat... 👏

Pls do teach novices like me too... how to write stories, how to pick sequences from real life etc...

Coming to this SS, I fell in love with the humble Advay who doesn't talk much but when he does, he makes sense and he is upto the point. Very cool minded and down to earth. I like the way he proposed and yet not proposed her (that's how most of the guys are in real life I guess 😊)

I did not like te way Chandini fled from the house - she actually gave a confirmation of her character by runnin from the house... She should have at least tried putting her point across to her family before trying to run. If she had stood her ground on PP correctly, she should have told everyone what happened, before leaving the house. Her parents would have felt proud that their daughters have taken her morals seriously. But I am glad that she fell into the right hands - Advay... a good guy. So, ultimately pain and hurt was healed and love, respect and understanding is in the air. Yay..

Hi Sangeetha,

Thank you, I think I once wrote melodrama as weel with all the chest heacing and stuff on popular demand for maan and geet. The story is called laws of love and there I went out of my way to make it as spicy as possible because I was like okay as long as I am doing it why not go all the way.

That said, I usually prefer writing simply and I think you are a much more seasoned writer and analyzer as compared to me. I look forward to read your pov after I write any story :)

I guess chandhini made a mistake, initially I was going to make advay take her back, you the scene where he asked her to call her family, she did and then, when advay proposed she went back and then they got married but when I wrote it down, I was too mad at Indranai and her family and I was like they don't deserve to be forgiven, why should a girl always pay the price?.

The moral values she has were taught to her by her parents and now they blamed her. chandhini told her mom everything but Indrani was like you should have gone in with him. And if stayed there to make them listen to reason, they may have forcefully married her off, so she ran away.

Yes, when I was writing after she ran away I was like this girl can end up in so much trouble but since it was a sweet love story on the request of a sweet fan, so I gave it a sweet ending with no twists or turns.

I guess you can say so. I wasn't consciously thinking about them when I wrote this story. I think only laws of love had some similarities with haunda family but maan there was initially quite negative and geet was always dependent on him even when the story ended.

Yes, chandhini is very independent and strong, an equal to Advay in this story.

oh Ashley thanks again for considering my request
u don't know how happy u have made me by writing this story
of course when principles and ideals clash it's difficult to maintain can relationship
as then your opinions will clash often and there will be constant fights
no girl should have to marry such a guy
she could have faced much worse but thankfully she escaped quite soon and easily
I also feel that your past partners really don't matter much as long as u r honest sincere and true to your current partner and tell him every
Advay was a proper gentleman man here
and I love student teacher love stories too
they have a special charm to them

Ashley I never had read any of your stories on Maaneet
I actually used to watch Geet when it aired
and I was just disgusted with the way daarji and brij acted with her with daarji hitting on her palms with a stick and making her walk on burning coals and brij hiring goons to kill her
they had even tried to get her baby aborted
and her Chachi too wasn't less
reading about Chandni family just reminded me of the Handa family as they had the same cheap regressive mentality
would love to read that fiction
is it completed ?

about her running away she did what she needed to do
that family didn't deserve her and if she would have stayed her life would have been hell as she would have been forced to marry that oldie
no one would have tried to understand her even if she had explained her situation to them
at times the ways of society are really strange
u r supposed to forget that u had learned and give in to any demands that are made
how ridiculous and backward
Advay was such a perfect choice for her who will always help her fly as high as she wishes to

I hated geet's family especially darji because he was the family head and he should have stopped brij. Yes, I can see how you think that both families are same, they know that their daughters are not wrong but they are still punishing them. Geet married dev as per the wishes of her family but he ran away and then everyone was forcing her to abort the baby even though both geet and baby were innocent.

Brij and Dev don't deserved to be called human.

I wrote couple of stories for geet and maan. But I completed only two, mannmeet and laws of love.

exactly
daarji was the typical patriarch of the family and he taught brij all his cheap lessons
they chose Dev for her even though she didn't want to marry
and when he left her they punished her
I was so disgusted when daarji had come to the wedding as if he loved her so much
brij came to kill her and was caught that I liked
but daarji arrival seemed so hypocritical to me
thanks for the links will read the slowly
