He obviously wanted to scare her...set her on for because he was re-enacting his mother's death by fire scenario ...

She didn't even understand what was going on ..she fainted bcos she was remembering her kidnapping ...

He softened when she fainted on his arms .. That was a Dev moment ... He could probably see the dainty little Chandni in her

Q. Do you think he wanted her to remove the dupatta ? Was his mom undressed in public bcos of the fire ? ( this pains me to write this ... No one could bear such pain ... And as a son it would be scarring for life )

Q. Did she understand that Advey set her on fire ? ( bcos next day she tells him ...what you did was not right ). Then why didn't she tell her mom? Was she already shielding him without knowing what he means to her ?
